The planes are in a holding pattern and jet exhaust leave an ice and water trail because they are so high. They turn into clouds. This has been happening ever since airplanes went over 15000 feet. @GregOrca listen and concentrate on what she says 'unless in the case of bad weather or unusual congestion' "commercial" aircraft dont carry excess fuel to "joyride' in circles for hours. She made a valid point in that commercial aircraft only take fuel enough for their set flight and a little extra in case of being put into a holding pattern if there is problems or congestion at the airport. But she doesn't identify commercial airliners as those 'joy riding' filling the sky with pollution.

im a scientist, why not just get direct evidence its easy enough (maybe not for government jobs lol). setup a water capture when they do chemtrails, when it rains record the concentration of elements or compounds, next take water and soil samples to determine if they were the same source, not only would this prove where it was coming from it would allow you to determine what compounds they tried and how much of it they tried

Some of the facts just don't support the argument. Planes are often put into holding patterns, anyone having ever flown knows that. Contrails do persist for hours. Anyone who has ever been to an air show knows that the smoke they release acts much differently than a contrails. I would have to have much more solid science and less supposition and assumption. I do know global warming is not a myth, solid science proves it.

I Considering how they cannot even discern a significant human contribution to climate change, it's amazing that they claim contrails were contributing to global warming. Sure water vapour is a much bigger factor than CO2 climate-wise but it would cool the planet rather than heat it, due to albedo effect. The planes are in a holding pattern and jet exhaust leave an ice and water trail because they are so high. They turn into clouds. This has been happening ever since airplanes went over 15000 feet. Look at the videos of WW2 bombers going to Berlin by the hundreds. The only way you are going to gain credibility is to test the trails and show there are really chemicals in it. No one is denying that aircraft make "pollution".
Of course aircraft leave carbon dioxide and nitric acid and soot in their exhaust but that is not the issue . She is claiming the white trails in the sky are NOT ice crystals but some type of spray.
Her justification for that claim is that she says these long trails NEVER occurred in the past and that the planes behaviour is not normal.
It IS normal airliner behaviour and the trails were just as long over 60 years ago.

They sometimes had over 1000 planes leaving trails. There is data from back then about the same thing. Had she taken any time to look she would know. No where have a seen an air quality test done on this nonsense. That would be the prudent way to do it if they wanted credibility. They wont do it because they would have to stop their BS

as he also was there when the problem of persistence of jet emissions was 'fixed' as an aesthetic issue, even though the pollution remained it wasn't visible any longer due to advances in emission control. So the persistence of emissions yes had occurred in th early years of jet engine tech, but was soon resolved as the communities beneath found it unacceptable then, as many of us today do also. @GregOrca listen and concentrate on what she says 'unless in the case of bad weather or unusual congestion' "commercial" aircraft dont carry excess fuel to "joyride' in circles for hours. She made a valid point in that commercial aircraft only take fuel enough for their set flight and a little extra in case of being put into a holding pattern if there is problems or congestion at the airport. But she doesn't identify commercial airliners as those 'joy riding' filling the sky with pollution.

It's only AFTER myself and others deluged her comments with information explaining what holding patterns were, that she even acknowledged they existed. She had supposedly been "studying" aviation phenomena for 10 years but had no knowledge of basic aviation.

My God are people that stupid! Those trails are exhaust at high altitude. Yes sometimes the trails spread out, but sometimes they just evaporate and leave clear sky. It depends on the conditions of the atmosphere at the time. The airlines aren't dumping some kind of weird chemicals into the air. They were initially called contrails, but now they're called chemtrails to make it sound like something tragic. The plane that flies her fat ass around leaves contrails too!

im a scientist, why not just get direct evidence its easy enough (maybe not for government jobs lol). setup a water capture when they do chemtrails, when it rains record the concentration of elements or compounds, next take water and soil samples to determine if they were the same source, not only would this prove where it was coming from it would allow you to determine what compounds they tried and how much of it they tried

Some of the facts just don't support the argument. Planes are often put into holding patterns, anyone having ever flown knows that. Contrails do persist for hours. Anyone who has ever been to an air show knows that the smoke they release acts much differently than a contrails. I would have to have much more solid science and less supposition and assumption. I do know global warming is not a myth, solid science proves it.

If you hadn't noticed, our whole solar system is heating up. Even mars is starting to form light hazy clouds. Compared to what the planets looked like20-30 years ago, they have changed dramatically. I don't think there are SUV's using fossil fuels on mars, and all the other planets...

Because of the shortness of replies we can give my statement came off as dismissing contrails but I was actually trying to understand better and apply it to what information I do know. Anyone wanting more info just look up "cloud seeding" companies, various clients, usually a few military contracts and no mention of what kind of chemicals or metals are used or how much. Disturbing.

That quote from 1969 from popular science magazine is typical of the hundreds of photos , films and media references to the common sky spanning and cloud forming jet contrails of the time. Nowdays there are VASTLY more planes in the sky and far more flight routes. meaning not only are horizon spanning and flightpath intersecting contrails more common, but EACH of the 80,000 airliners PER DAY release about 6 to 8 TONS of WATER per hour, making the sky more humid and contrails more likely to form.

I Considering how they cannot even discern a significant human contribution to climate change, it's amazing that they claim contrails were contributing to global warming. Sure water vapour is a much bigger factor than CO2 climate-wise but it would cool the planet rather than heat it, due to albedo effect. PS: Her remarks re questioning weather bureau & learning such flights (such as one she was watching overhead at that moment) and related trails & cloud formation are visible from satellite are fascinating, yet local weather will report such haze & cloud cover as a new weather 'front'. If weather people were required to use term 'man made...' or 'artificial weather pattern' or similar for such weather changes, the news viewing population would quickly become engaged & question what is happening.

To explore topic we need only look up (& wonder how did we not notice this?) as with today in inland SF Bay Area, nice blue start of day, then turned to dark haze under criss-crossed, unnaturally clouded skies. Contrails disappear quickly, fog is different, & skies of yore didn't go hazy under jets. Her area Mendocino has few commercial flights which she well explained re some debunkers below (to devalue questioning is to be smart?). Thx for upload.

Contrails can last for HOURS for the exact same reason ANY cloud can last for hours. Contrails are WATER.
Clouds are WATER. If a collection of water can last for HOURS in the form of a cloud it can last just as long as a contrail.
In the 1960s a large proportion of the cloud cover over the united states originated as jet contrails
