Thank you kindly :o) Definitely get FS Genesis and GE Pro! The two work VERY well together. Of course install FS Genesis first and then GE Pro...work from the bottom and go up is the key.

got a question about active sky 6.5

I dont know if anyone has had this problem.

When I go into the activesky graphics program and choose the 64x64 cloud texture settings and choose dxt3 instead of 32bit and save . When I load the cloud textures and look in my fs9 textures folder the clouds are in 32bit and 512x... any ideas wat im doing wrong

Have you been on HiFi Simulation's forum to see if other have this problem? I don't use AS6's cloud textures anymore. I use Cielosim cloud textures most of the time. Occassionally I will use Flight Environment ones.

Dude amazing video! Just so you know, Garuda dont fly to europe or the states anymore..but its a sim, so who cares..Just 1 question, how did your Fspassengers worked with PMDG 747???

The problem i had is that it always crashes during takeoff. Fspassengers say its likely because i did not configure the flaps but obviously i did. I tried with flaps 10 and 20 but still it crashed. CRASHED as in the plane crash, not my com. Any answers?? Really appreciate it..Thanks alot and gr8 vid again..

Thanks! Are you using FsPX for FSX or FsP for FS9? Not sure which one you are referring to..definitely different programs. I never had an issue with the 747 and FsP for FS9. Do you have the FMC set up correctly and V speeds confirmed in the FMC for 10 degrees flaps? I always take off with 10 flaps...never an issue. Is the aircraft within CG,too?

Im using FS9 for Fspax and i did program the FMC correctly i think and set flaps 10 for takeoff. But nvm, at least my Level D 767 and PMDG 737 was able to run with Fspax. I'll try again. Thanks for the advice though. Cya =)

Thank you! Editing with Sony Vegas does wonders for the graphics :o) Scenery is another story though...different addon scenery.

Are you running it on Vista? Is it FSX or FS9? Have you updated graphics drivers? I could try and help but you didn't leave me much info.

If its FS9 how do you get the wing View in a PMDG and the Flyby. I tried to make a Video of my own With the PMDG but could only get so many views, Have a look at it and tell me what you think?.

Thank you. In the Tags you will see this is FS9. I use FS Recorder to replay a flight, DBS Walk & Follow(limited use in demo, full use registered) to get the various wing views, as well as Active Camera to get different fly-by angles and landing angles.

The terrain mesh is FS Genesis, alnong with Ultimate Terrain Europe and Ground Environment Pro. Yeah, that ground effect is a biatch sometimes...

Sorry for the late response. You cannot get FSNAV to fly the airplane for you. You can only use the PMDG737 export module to insert a FSNAV flight plan into the 747 FMC. From there the aircraft will fly the route in the FMC. This is much better anyway.

Yes, I used Airport Environment Services(AES) by Aerosoft. I highly recommend it. Actually I used DBS Walk & Follow to move around the aircraft and get different camera angles. I use Active Camera for only capturing approach views and doing fly-by angles.

I have it locked at 25 FPS as to allow for other resources. I maintain 24.5 for the most part...except during heavy cloud draw...using 32 bit clouds. I'll lose 10-15 FPS briefly during the heavy cloud draws. I have the Intel C2D 2.66Ghz OC'd to 3.0 Ghz, 2 Gig of ram, GF 8600GTS Superclocked 256MB SLI.

Yeh, I have Sony Vegas 8 Pro, there it's no problem with getting that done. Just record in example Fraps, put the video in, don't forget new project...Then on the clip you should see 3 or 2 buttons on the far right side. If you don't see it, is because the clip is to small in length for your zoom, the just use your mouse or zoom in until you see it...I think it was the top of the middle button, you will find it. Then just make the crop, save the crop, and use it on every clip.
