there's a difference between playing something differently or "stripped down"/easier to playing it wrong. play this to the original and it will sound wrong. at least the opening riff. the rest seems to be right.
I don't know where this guy got his chords from. But, he is not correct. The first few bars are not even close to being correct. It doesn't even song like the song.
Sorry , but nothing about this vid connected in my mind with brown sugar. The chords that are actually played in open G aren't any harder or easier to play/learn than what you showed here but it will sound like brown sugar... this doesn't.
Thanks for the Barre chord lessons. They helped me get my head around their use and the reasons you use them. Don't pay any attention to the "Geniuses" that post negative remarks. This type lesson is great for the frustrated learning beginners. Thanks again and keep posting your lessons ... Please!
Max, Thanks for the nice comments. I was a beginner once too and it's tough, but just keep strumming away and all of a sudden you'll be playing barre chords and it'll make playing lots of songs easier.
thats pretty bad, sounds more like devos mongoloid

How to play Brown Sugar, WRONG!

Don't want to be over-critical. They're nice chords, just not the ones in Brown Sugar.

Perhaps you are right, but this is for beginners and e tuning is the easiest.
