@kinkalani You have to resample the snare...the place on a patch but you check the make to keyboard.

@kinkalani Yes you can...by holding Roll then Shift. You may need to lower the quantize strength or turn it off as well.

how do you solo the tracks out ? i dont understand how i could record all the sounds at the same time without having a mulit audio out.

@BIGSABMUSIC I solo everything myself...but I also have 3 signals coming in my projectmix. Laptop for vst's, fantom, and Mv8800 so that'd how I record 3 simultaneously.

some one help please b 4 i throw this computer out the window....i have my mv 8000 3.54v midi in to my mbox2 midi out my mv master L R to my mackie mixer my korg triton L R tomy mixer my main L R mixer to my m box L R and my moniters to my m box i create an audio track on pro tools(slave my mv,set my midi studio ect.. i get an audio signal when i arm the record but my pro tools transport play button wont play my mv and triton when i press it WTF can someone help me out please..

Hey Buddy You wouldn't have that problem if you did a 10 Sec sync Run time, Then Us the MV-8800 In Master Not Slave.

Meaning Ever Session that I've done ,I never had to go back and do what your doing. Time Coding Is Very Important and not to be tamper with while syncing.

yeah you can drag and drop tracks from reason into the mv,,,there are videos on here how to do it exactly. don't know bout record yet but its looking nice..hold off of protools and check out record.

yea because they have the reason 4.0 and reason record duo at GC for 500 but i wanna use a motif as a synthesizer and a midi controller with the mv8800 and another midi controller to work with reason4.0

Fire tutorial!! My question is how did you get each separate track from the MV-8800 to go into each separate audio track in pro tools? I track out each sound in pro tools one at a time and you just did it all together. how do you do that??

anyway here's my question: as you sync the mv with protools that means all the tracks will be recorded into the protools sequencer, as far as i have understood. so what is the advantage of using the mv to the mpc as the mv is much more expensive, especially if all the mixing is done in protools..(?)

yo man i do have the same setup. I use the MV and the Project mix along with Protools M-powered. Im thinking about upgradeing to Protools LE. The Mbox pro. I was wondering what are your thoughts on the LE and M-powered. Well i know that LE has more plug ins then the m-powered but i have almost all of the plugins.

Thanks for that info. I don't have the MV but my MPC is slaved to pro tools through midi. Works off the same principle, but I'm gonna definitely gonna toy around with that sample off set like you did to make everything fit tight. Good look and keep bangin PEACE..

BEING THE YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER YOUR CPU SPEED..AND HOW MIDI DATA HAS TO Travel THROUGH EQUIPMENT...IT COULD CAUSE A DELAY..SO I HAVE TO COMPENSATE FOR THE DELAY..MAKES IT EASIER FOR CUT AND PASTE...AND OTHER EDITING POSSIBILTIES. SINCE IT IS MEASURED IN SAMPLES..I CLICK SAMPLE...ZOOM IN AND HIGHLIGHT THE OPEN SPACE..THEN I CAN HOW FAR OFF PROTOOLS TAKES TO START THR MV. HOPE THAT DIDN'T CONFUSE YOU!
