Why would he be helping you destroy them if he were one of them? Unless, of course, he's a rouge advisor that's attempting to take over. However, based on the main Half-Life 1 conversation, with him, he's a middle man working for someone else.

He probably is transfered into an advisor? Farfetched? In the early Half Life 2 story line, Breen (then called the console) was being turned immortal and when you saw him, half his body was worm like. Just like an advisor. It might be a bit of a stretch, but I wouldn't be suprised if they decided to have Breen transfered into an advisor.

I doubt it, but I suppose you never know. I think they would just transform humans into those...whatever they're called. Stalkers? But only the ones that refuse to help them, for now at least.

@Soulsphere001 My point is, he talks to an advisor on the screen about a "host body", and in the end of the original plot, he was slowly becouming a mechanical worm of sorts,s aying he was immortal. This fits in also with the dexcription of the advisor. It is a stretch, and you're right, it is probably not true, but it just seems to fit together.

It all hinges on whether or not they had the "host body" dialogue on paper when they were going to turn him into an advisor (or whatever he was turning into). Either way, it's nice to speculate. You could be right, though, because he would have had to go through some sort of transformation to survive anyway.

The advisor was saying to him that his body wouldn't be able to enter the teleportation and still be in one piece, therefor he had to be in a host body. Later on, in ep1 there is an advisor passing by Alyx and Gordon, could that be the host body they were talking about? I mean, even tho the actor of Breen has died, they could be making so that his voice was slightly damaged or so.

I'm thinking it's more that he wouldn't survive in their atmosphere. He'll survive the teleport fine, but once he's there he probably would have been the host to some organism that would be able to convert whatever the advisors breath into oxygen.

You'll likely fight some advisors in Episode Three, but we'll have to wait and see how Valve decides to go about that.

As for an advisor queen...maybe. We'll find out in Episode Three, though you're probably right about some boss battle against some sort of advisor spawner.

In a way, Half-Life 2 Episodes One through Three are Half-Life 3. :) I have no clue if they're even going to make a Half-Life 3 anymore. Or, wait a minute, I think they might have said they are, but I can't recall.

Of course, a strider can't kill you as easily as an advisor can. Gordon got lucky the first time he ran into a "hatched" advisor.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they'll make you immune, or at least resistant, to being tossed around by advisors. But they'll still be able to fling objects at you, like barrels, stones, cars, and maybe even a piece (or pieces) of a building. I'm sure they're going to make advisors extremely dangerous.

I doubt he's an advisor, though I suppose the G-Man's body could be a host to _something_ controlling him. There's that talk between and advisor and Breen, talking about him being able to survive as a host for something. That, or Breen would get some sort of host body.

I'm sure we'll find out the truth eventually.

That's a very interesting thought. You're definitely thinking outside the box, which I like. However, I think the G-Man being an advisor is extremely unlikely, and it doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would he have put Gordon into a position to hurt the advisors? I suppose the G-Man could have gone rogue though. Hmm, an interesting thought. We'll see if you're right or not.

i believe that gman is a business man of other dimension and that his "clients" wants to restabliched both of the dimensions. So the gman "hired" Gordon to do the job. It's just a guess.

In Half life 2 at the citadel level you go up an elevator And see Breen talking to A screen with an advisor on it. That room was recorded by that screen to the room on the other side. The level is Dark Energy.

No one outside of Valve knows at this point. However, Gamespot and IGN both have 2009 as the release date, so it may be released sometime this year. We can only hope.

Yes, they basically are the brain bugs from Starship Troopers. It's obvious that's where they got the idea from. The Ant Lions seem to have been taken from Starship Troopers as well.
