  • they always know how to make songs about making people thirsty.

  • Drinking My Logo related soda as seen on TV? Yeah.

  • In 1987, they used the Paramount 75th Anniversary logo.

  • I see this logo on The Real Ghostbusters sometimes

  • Very refreshing! :^)

  • I love that sound.

  • @Duruwen Me, too.

  • @Duruwen Me too. It takes me back to when I was a kid in the fall of 1987 (or 1988?), especially during Halloween season.

  • LOL. I am watching this and drinking Coca-Cola.

  • I watched this while drinking a Coke.

  • Classic I love older commercials.

  • kind of scary that coke had a hold on childrens programing back then.. I wonder if they still do.. the note they use is from the Ray Charls era I think.. the note was used in a commerical. does anyone have it or know of one?

  • I was 15 when I saw this one. Watching this clip back then made me feel older, but I don't know why.

  • I was 15 when I saw this one. It made me feel older, but I don't know why.

  • @SempiternalDamnation

Amen to that! Nothing beats the taste of Coca-Cola classic. It's the 'Real Thing'.

  • I'm drinking a Coke right now.

  • @mattjnor98

Can you spare a bottle? :)

  • coca-cola telecomunications? What's next... iPhone on the Nestlé satelite network?

  • My friends and I would be watching this logo when we were kids and we always had a cold bottle of Coca Cola with us. We always said, 'Have a Coke and a smile' when we saw this. Man, I miss my childhood.

  • Product Placement WORKS!!!

  • This was used on The Real Ghostbusters on syndication, Punky Brewster on FAM, and 3 DiC Shows also on syndication and FAM Reruns:

    Sylvanian Families, Dinosaucers and StarCom

I LOVE This Logo, I'll take this over SONY Pictures Television ANYDAY of the week

  • @tnawcwvictoria No, Punky Brewster was own by NBC, not Coca-cola Telecommunications, nor Columbia Pictures Television, nor Columbia TriStar Television Distribution, nor Columbia TriStar Domestic Television, and nor Sony Pictures Television.

  • @bloodshotclam I know that, but I saw this on The Family Channel when they rerun Punky Brewster, but Columbia Pictures Television produced the syndicated version and when you buy Season 4 of Punky Brewster on DVD, then you'll see the Columbia Pictures Television Logo on there from the Coca-Cola Years

  • @tnawcwvictoria Oh!!!! I thought it had the Columbia TriStar Television Distribution logo, or Sony Pictures Television logo on seasons 3, and 4 DVD.

  • Get your sources right, bloodshotclam! Sony owns US television rights to "Punky Brewster"! And this logo DID appear on "Punky Brewster"! It was "Exclusive Distributor" version that was.

  • @ShaDeed329 Oh, why didn't you say so to me?

  • Drink some coke while playing this

  • COCO COLA DRINK YOU BASS!

  • @SempiternalDamnation u got that right coke BEATS pepsi

  • Logos go better with Coke.

  • That logo was at the end of Punky Bruster

  • @MrInfamous1984 This logo didn't appeared on Punky Brewster, because it was owned by NBC Productions, or NBC Universal Television Distribution.

  • yeah I definitely remember that Lighthouse Productions logo when I was 4 years old over in Texas.Scared me as well too.

  • This is an excellent old-school logo. I've seen it on "The Real Ghostbusters" and "Punky Brewster" in my youth.

  • The perfect Sunday evening sound.

  • @Sezu86:

That's true, I just had one prior to reading your comment! LOL!

  • The ident tune just makes me want to go and get a coca cola while being scared of the end of a VHS at the same time... (When the VHS just goes to black, the TV ejects it or the WSoD comes up)

  • Aaahhh the pause that refreshes.

  • i agree

  • @SempiternalDamnation

    So does the music.

  • I only remember seeing this logo once, a long time ago at the end of a Punky Brewster episode.

  • From 1987 only.

  • I remember this. Used to see this at the end of "The Real Ghostbusters" & "Dinosaucers" a long time ago, when TV was actually more watchable! This was back when Coca-Cola owned Columbia Pictures at the time.

  • The sound and graphics just symbolize the late 1980s for me. This is amongst my top five 1980s logos.

  • this was also later used on great toons such as the real ghostbusters and dinosaucers.

  • and it was also used on StarCOM, Sylvanian Families and Punky Brewster on FAM (before it became Fox Family and abc family).

  • You know, when I was a kid, when I saw this logo it made me thirsty for a Coke or a Minute Maid Orange soda. I always enjoyed seeing this logo after Care Bears went off and then me and my friends would hit the kitchen for something to drink.

  • I'm very shocked to hear that this was found on DVD being that this logo was extremely rare during it's short limited time and didn't think that it would ever be put on DVD format some 22 years later...It's about time and I'm surprised that Sony didn't decide to keep The Coca-Cola Communications logo on The Real Ghostbusters DVD sets as well...

  • I Love This

  • No scare or cheese factor here.

  • I love this logo.

  • Great Intro!

gets me feeling for a coke

  • or Coca-Cola Cherry in my case

  • another good choice

  • Great stuff!

  • was the ending theme played over it?

  • No, just the first note of the coke theme was cut off.
