  • whats all the sick comments about his eye? whats the matter with you lot? just stick to the politics and quit the mocking a mans disability. its pathetic

  • Gordon doing "human", yeah right!

  • english prick.

  • People who call gordon brown a one eyed cunt etc. are ignorant and know nothing about politics or the achievements he's made.

  • @Emsyphine What did he achieve ? He`s regarded as a brilliant economist. He sold gold at rock bottom prices. He spent money he didn`t have. Any fool can do that.

  • It takes a softly-spoken woman to win any argument with a man by blind logic. We just don't stand a chance!

  • scottish cart

  • if we didnt have an open door policy on immigration we wouldnt need to build half as many houses.

I suppose gordon could sell OUR gold at rock bottom prices and waste it ???

Gordon brow, you should be hung by the neck util dead then hung, drawn and quartred then drag through london. you are a treasonous traitor of this country !

Remember remember the fifth of November

    Gunpowder, treason and plot.

I see no reason why gunpowder, treason

    Should ever be forgot...

bring on the lawful rebellion !

  • The vile, air gulping, one-eyed wankstain has left this country up to its neck in shit !

  • I'm worried for the price of my milk too lol

  • "Opportunity for you to be a human being".

Love it Fern. Patronise him some more please!

  • Comment removed

  • Worried by the price of petrol? You're the cunt that raised it.

  • gordon going for the tuff politcal interview on this morning lol

  • Free energy technology exists! But Elite controllers don't want ppl to be free from the costs of energy,Check this free energy magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,take part in the revolution!

  • Looks a bit like Richard Nixon from that angle....

  • I take a bus trip to work. It costs £5.50 for a return journey of about 13 miles in total. I was recently in the South of Spain. I took a bus journey from the city centre to the airport. A journey of about 13 - 14 miles. Cost ? one euro. About 80 pence !

Rip - off Britain doesn`t come close.

  • people really do believe too much of what they read in the paper - people have what they deserve now though - the lib dems and conservatives are setting about totally ruining the economy and wiping out a generation of young people looking for work - good work - keep reading the papers people - brainless morons

  • @finntrib This cyclopic, air gulping twathead has already destroyed the economy and a younger generations hopes of jobs or ever owning a property due to him supporting the high house price bubble for the last 13 years. I voted UKIP but I don't think any govenment will be able to reverse the damage done by this One-eyed Scottish Idiot. Spend a few minutes in Waterstones and read some extracts of "Gordon is a moron" or any of the other books dissecting his disastrous tenure in government

  • The economy was already trashed by Labour you clown! Read some books on 20th century political history. EVERY Labour government has left unemployment higher than it was when they started. We've had 5 Labour governments, and each has overseen a massive sterling depreciation. They have also bankrupted the country. It is the historic duty of conservatives to clean up the mess left by Labour, as they did in 1951, 1979 and now 2010

  • Would anybody else give Fern one just for the hell of it???

  • i think fern did a good job here actually, you know for the viewers it has to be informative for all levels not just for her level of intelligence, which i think you guys below underestimate, i dont think she let him get away with so much, its not news night, its this morning, and i think she balanced the tone of the program with getting to with grilling gordon brown really quite well.

  • she is not not very bright is she

  • I forgot how utterly disgusting that man was. He should have taken the revolver and whisky way out of office.

  • @calicheSCOT He took all the pies instead and our money of course.

  • good old gordon. ok his policies mite have been not to everyones taste. but wot does having one eye got to do with anything. its that fat bitch thats the ugly one not gordon

  • Fuck off you "One-eyed Scottish Idiot". That is all most people will remember you as. You were a complete fucking joke as both Chancellor and Prime Minister. Glad we won't be seeing your ugly head and your strange air gulping any time soon.

  • fake voice

  • Goodbye Gordon stay out good riddance

  • For the record im in Barcelona at the moment and you can see here what the net result is of massive immigration...20 per cent unemployment..many native spaniards have left the city.

  • he's unbearable...

  • Ha GREAT!

  • history will remember you kinder Gordon!!!

  • @truthforthefuture I am from Australia and many of the middle eastern migrants who have been coming here over the past 25-30 years are causing alot of problems with violent and organised crime. The way Brown spoke of that woman who was simply expressing a genuine concern in your own backyard, shows he was completely out of touch. He should have lost the election in a landslide..their are obviously many stupid voters in the uk.

  • @danielmy08 the scale of retardation over here in britain is amazing i dont understand why people think we are smart and cultured , that is a huge lie.

  • @danielmy08 She asked about Eastern Europeans. They tend to come and work very hard for low wages, they're not much of a criminal threat at all.

Brown was a fantastic pm who saved us from a financial crisis. To not vote for him just because he called someone a bigot would be quite childish. If the Australian population would have avoided voting for him just for that reason, there are obviously many stupid voters in Australia.

  • @danielmy08: there are many stupid voters in the uk. I agree with you

  • @danielmy08 well im english and i do agree with you.and its a british political tradition to vote a leader in and then condemn his policies as soon as they are in power.and as for immigration well the british need a scapegoat for its problems so they blame the immigrants.its ironic really that the brits emigrate because of immigration and yet are immigrants themselves.notably to your country.i get sick of hearing the same old whinge from the people here ,

  • @MrArnold1972 Yeah well in a democracy people are empowered to vote for the party that is best serving the country ...the idea that people should just vote according to some tradition is ridiculous ..you are a nation of sheep if you do...why even bother having elections if that is the case.

  • Fern Britton shows her true ignorance of the issues here - she knows nothing and is not listening, just trying to score points. She is not fit to interview Gordon Brown or anyone with great intellect.

  • Fern Britton lightweight. It makes me sick when she put on that faux concerned voice of her's. She knows nothing!! Rambling away like a drunk horse!!

  • I admire the way Brown held his party together but with the likes of evil Harman in the party he had no chance. She is hated by the public. Hopefully she will be Labour's next leader....then they won't get another chance to wreck this country for many years!!! However he is very deluded as to his abilities with regard to financial management of the country. It was appalling. How could he spend money we didn't have without regard to the consequences?

  • Gordon's main mistake was to not have any Jewish blood. Blair/Cameron/Milliband - these are the people Murdoch supports. The British people worry about immigration but they can't see that the Celts are being edged out of government. There is no room for them in Israel-friendly politics with an agenda. The poor, hard-working immigrants are scape-goats. Honest, working-class politicians like Brown are the fall-guys. It's a scary world.

  • And the witch-hunt we've seen over the last few months for Gordon Brown is particularly terrible because this is a nation that is supposed to value propriety and decency. Instead you have papers baying for blood and making the most awful, below-the-belt attacks on a decent, hard-working politician who has devoted his life to this country.

  • A sad day for England.

  • @truthforthefuture ...and do you think it is "decent" to let one of the jewels of the crown of the western world (literally) be completely overrun by migrants many of whom despise western ideas of freedom and many likewise who don't contribute in any positive way and just sponge off welfare.

  • @truthforthefuture Gordon Brown was not a decent politician, he was a compulsive liar and he surrounded himself with liars (ie Cambell and Mandelson)

Also what do you mean by suggesting Tony Blair has jewish blood? Thats news to me. You don't need to have jewish blood to do their dirty work, ask Blair he's working for Goldman Sachs (Jewish Zionist bankers) and apparently being paid £1 million a year as an "advisor".

  • @truthforthefuture its very unreasonable to blame all of britains problems on one man!!!that is ridiculous.

  • Wether you hate him or not, Brown doesn't fuck around. He's a lot more driven than people think.

  • @ExtremeBogom He's a workaholic, yes. No one's disputed that. It's what he peruses that's peeved plenty of people.

  • Gordon Brown stupid fat terrorist dictator bastard...fuck off

  • I Hope people boycott The Sun newspaper who is trying to use its influence to persuade voters to the Tories, The super rich tycoon wants to decide the next government, Newspapers should report actual, factual news not use their media empires to be able to choose who they want in power. Rich wanting influence again like Lord Ashcroft using his tax avoidance to pay the Scamerons campaign!

  • @nerolyle So what about all the other papers that no longer support Labour? When the Sun switch to Labour in the 90s did you say the same then?

  • gordon brown so much better than tory, problem is gordon brown is honest but lacks charisma whereas cameron is very good at talking (*ahem* down) to people and he's a brilliant liar

    DON'T VOTE TORY!!

  • @trywbau add to that Gordon Brown can't count, see, write or do basic maths. He also can't talk to the public that dare to question him and refuses to listen as he surrounds himself by yes people. His party don't even allow negative comments on the videos they post on YouTube. If you like democracy I suggest you never vote Labour. Another 13 years and they will own our souls. Socialism works by feeding the population until they become dependant on the government.

  • @trywbau I agree brown is more moral, but lacks the blair charisma so is very unnpopular.

  • i dont mind gordon.. i prefer him to cameron... but Clegg s my favourate

  • HAHA THE PRICE OF BREAD, THE PRICE OF MILK

    EVERYONE THAT WATCHS THIS!

basically every woman and mother are worried for their grocery prices

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Badly said

  • Lloyds Banking Group has announced it returned to profit in the first three months of this year and expects to continue to make profits throughout 2010. Eric Daniels, chief executive, indicated the profitability would continue through the year. The group is continuing to see positive trends, Gardeners know a late frost can kill off early growth. It is the same in the first days of an economic upturn. Conservatives will plunge us back into recession.

  • check out the following YT videos mandella singing about killing whites muslims groom white girls for prostitution theres nothing british about the uaf uaf self proclaimed anti democratic racist idiot martin smith speaks to bbc 5 live BNP gain huge popularity boost BNP and christian after the show email and phone in victim of multiculturalism labour paedophile and sex offenders CNN report on the islamic threat to britain uaf scum labour are the real nazis and google "GORDON BROWN PAEDOPHILE"
  • Well done Gordon, talks sense, explains clearly what the government is doing to help people and dispels media rubbish.

  • Has anyone else realised gordon does that weird mouth thing at the end of each sentance?, uts completely irellivant but still.

  • @crunchychewything haha yes, it's like he's sucking in air or something!

  • I think your arguement is not very good. People will always be pampered in prison under any party because there will always be people fighting for the rights of murderes and child killers. Look at Myra Hindley, She always had it good, got a degree and had love in prison. People will always kill under any party in all parts of the world. And you really believe benefits will be stopped by other party. Whoever is in nothing will change. The things you say are emotive but not right.

  • People who use language to make an impression are low in IQ. Fools!

  • @RevitalizeX

No he hasn't been doing a good job. He's been doing a SHITE job. Child killers being pampered in jail, and let out with a NEW IDENTITY paid for by the tax payer. Children stabbing teachers with a knife. £800 benefits for lazy people who can't be bothered looking for a job. And you have the balls to say he's doing a GOOD JOB? You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • @Cartoonsbystan Child killers pampered in jail?? Where? Child killers need more protection & care in prison for obvious reasons. They may be child killers but they're still human beings with rights. Children stabbing teachers could happen under any government, what does that have to do with anything? The Tories were paying benefits to lazy people who didn't want to work also. Gordon IS doing a good job. The country is in a far better shape than it would of been had the Tories remained in power.

  • Just Go. We're sick of the sight of you.

  • KEEP BROWN your just a hater!

  • my mum was watching politics earlier today n i was thinkin, no one that has actual sense in their brains becomes a politician, its all the idiots who onlt care about power ans money and not those who they r makin their decisions for!! its rediculous!!

  • OMG...this guy is unreal. he is truely dredful. he takes no responsibilty for his own failed leadership.he looks terrible and comes across so badly.he in my oppinion played on his childs death by doing an interview just before an election.i cant hate this man anymore than i already do. please gordon for the sake of all the the children in the uk please step down.

  • He is a piece of shit, OPEC don't put 80% tax on a litre of fuel, it's YOU, and you know it. We are not as stupid as you think. Whilst I'm here, we're ravaged by crime because YOU refused to build new prisons so YOU are letting these feckless morons roam the streets and maim innocent people. And let's not get started on immigration, busloads of new european thugs coming over to exploit YOUR lax benefits system.. You've had 13 years and you've spectacularly fucked up. Fuck off.

  • Vote UKIP 2010!! Lets kick out LabLibCon parties!! Lets Kick out Gordon Brown and David Cameron.

  • Comment removed

  • @RevitalizeX Just watched Andrew Marr interview Gordon Brown after two minutes Brown was in danger of drowing in the shit that came out of his mouth. by the way Marr as an interviewer is less than useless he let Brown spout his lab lies without pulling him up on the number of imigrants here in Great Britain. bring on the PAXMAN

  • @RevitalizeX, "Gordons doing a good job" - let me tell you a little fact

£1 trillion national debt, and then theres the yearly deficit £160 million per year.

    What a great job

  • The Lib Dems don't seem much better. They promise the earth and intend to pay for it by "closing tax loopholes". Real action needs to be taken to get the country back on its feet.

  • NICK GLEGG to win

    - DAVID CANT DO ANYTHING

    -GORDON MIGHT ASWELL QUIT

    - NICK IS THE NEW AND IMPROVED TONY BLAIR AND CAN CHANGE THIS COUNTRY FOREVER PEOPLE.

Personal attacks again. But she's RIGHT.

  • Type in Renegade Economist and search. Have your eyes opened, you will be shocked, you will be appalled. I for one will never and i mean never vote for this shower of utter shite ever again.

  • Fred Harrison warned Gordon Brown, Alastair Darling, Tony Blair, Alastair Campbell and Browns chief advisor at the treasury Shitty Varadi or whoever the fuck she is back in 1998 that this bust would happen. He told them when it would happen and why it would happen. He also states that Brown could have advised the UK banking sector to avoid the US toxic loan schemes like the plague, but, they ignored his advice. What a set of incompetent, arrogant, cowardly, backstabbing set of CUNTS!!.

  • i HATE you go back to Scotland anyone else agree press 'like'

  • what an idiot brown is, going through this interview whispering in a pretend 'bedside manner'.

  • You can just see the guys that post ed this drivel hidden in his castle on his PC with thick glasses and acne. In other words the typical tory who's married to the only girlfriend he's ever had......A Nora Batty lookalike...

Come on Labour keep this losers out..

  • Britain today: Labour's lax morality has helped standards crash through the floor. Just look around you.

But people are truly waking up, not with just a little help from the Web.

Click my username or paste title into bar: THINGS CAN ONLY GET LABOUR - WHY THE 'PC' QUISLINGS WILL LOSE THE NEXT ELECTION (SPEECH)

  • april 2010 fuel at £1.20 per litre , hardest time for first time buyers ,so many lies

  • 'Its your opportunity to a human being' Christ that's a tall order for Brown it took him a long time to get out of the coffin.

  • Its a pity that Brown does not read these comments made about him, because if he did he would then know just how many people hate his party for what they have done to this country, it can only be enough to let you others out there know of my intense hatred of greed baring mongers that this labour mess has become. This party have got away with steeling from the public and now use an election as a diversion, No matter who gets in they all have the same agenda ,GREED.

  • Gordon brown try's to blame other people for his mistakes, it is a fact and not fiction that prices go up because of greed, rich people are not just happy having money in the bank, they want to invest and see that there captial will only ever make gains never loss so the top men hype up the price of there comodities which in turn feeds right back to the less wealthy sector that being your average working man. Fools

  • If you want the country flooded with immigrants and asylum seekers then Labour is the party for you.

  • @Bellalodicci9

If you want a nigger for a neighbour vote labour.

  • Brown is ruining this country. He lies about everything and yet, bizzarely, people still fall for it. He has taxed people more than ANY leader in Britain's history and we have still ended up skint. Nice going Brown you moron.

  • what a smarmy insincere lying turd of a man,he's seems incapable of telling the truth about anything, what an obnoxious snotgobbler he is.

  • your a wanker brown, do this country a favour and fucking top yourself you worthless piece of shit, you do not give a fuck you lting stinking scottish cunt,, for all our sakes fuck off you piece of shit,,

  • SICK OF GORDON BROWN'S VERBAL MISLEADING BOLLOCKS?

    please vote here.

  • Only a Moron would vote for this Man and his Party.. Brown is Scum

  • @VANTERHEYDEN SCUbAg AS hooleee WHO DIDNT LISTEN TO NICK CLEGG!

  • @VANTERHEYDEN only a moron gets personal in politics. GET REAL... Brown, Cameron and Clegg are all chummy with each other off camera and outside the commons. I'll be voting for Brown, regardless of your hot air rant. Brown is the man!

  • @TomTresh3 you must either be a moron or Alistair Campbell in disguise! Labour have wrecked the UK.

  • @VANTERHEYDEN The only moron here is you. Labour habe done a much better job than the tories ever did or could, and will continue to keep the great in great britain!

  • @TomTresh3, Labours last thirteen long years in power have produced far more mess and destruction to the UK than the conservatives could manage in 100 years;

£1 trillion national debt, £150 million annual deficit, roads falling to bit, HNS over-run, police stuck behind desks, the criminalisation of drivers, more rights for criminals, uncontrolled immigration, more than 3 million unemployed, lies about facts (immigration levels, crime rates....).

    All thanks to Labour

  • @TheNazgarth At least we have an NHS, something we wouldn't have had if it wasn't for a Labour government. Same goes for the minimum wage. The tories sold off the railways and british telecom, taking business, money and jobs out of the country. What about the million familes that lost their homes under the last tory government? When I look at all these facts, it's clear why I vote Labour!

  • @TomTresh3, labour sold off everything such as powerplants, bus services, and now even bridges and other things that bring income for councils. But look at the state of the NHS; it can't cope with the amount of people that need to use it, the waiting lists are a mile long, and Gordon Brown seems to think that seeing a cancer specialist in 2 weeks will make people vote for labour.

If we didn't have labour we would be in a better economic state.

  • @TheNazgarth No, we wouldn't be in a better economic state if we had the tories in power, and many people know that, which is why Labour will win the election. I remember what the economy was like pre-Blair, and it was much worse as it is now. Next you'll be telling me we'd have no waiting lists under the tories. I notice you (suprisingly) ignore the million familes who lost their homes under the tories... better economics my arse.

  • @TomTresh3, so your argument is speculation about how a tory government would have handled the situation? The economy was £1 trillion in national debt and £150 million annual deficit when Labour took over utter bullshit, where do you think these things up from, oh i know, Gordon Browns mouth. And I noticed you have nothing to say about the compaines I mensioned going abroad, and the fact the the NHS is over-run.

  • @TheNazgarth by and large the NHS do a good job, and Labour have invested a much larger amount into the NHS and other public services than the tories have and will do if they get into power. Labour's plan is to put more money into public services, and the tories plan is to put in less. The briton will suffer as a result and much needed services and operations will not be given under Cameron's leadership.

  • @TomTresh3, look the reason that Labour has been able to invest more money in the HNS is because they have been borrowing £150 million every year. This means one day, and ths day is coming very soon we will have to pay it back...and thus meaning spending in the NHS and other services will have to reduce, no matter what government is in power.

  • @TheNazgarth I think you fail to understand how the HP works, so let me explain. Each time a government wants to borrow money they have to get MPs to vote on it, regardless of which party they represent. Most tory MPs have supported Labours spending. The tories therefore would have done things no different than Brown has.

  • @TomTresh3, even so Gordon brown is incharge of how the money is spent, he seemed to want to spend the money unwisely or "throw" money at things that weren't working.

  • @TheNazgarth Brown has been bang on the money. Brown and Blair between them have invested much more into public services than maggie and johnny ever have and we are a better country for it!

  • @TomTresh3, yes they have invested more, but in the wrong ways and they borrowed the money to do so.

  • @TheNazgarth where else was the money meant to come from? are you seriously suggesting Labour should cut spending in public services?

  • @TomTresh3, im not suggesting it they are DOING IT you fool, can't you see through the lies?

  • @TheNazgarth Yes I can see through lies and that's why I don't vote conservitive!

  • @TomTresh3, they only reason your voting Labour is because of a fall-to-bits national health service? What about the loss of factories and businesses taht have been working in the UK for hundreds of years, such as Rover, Jag, TVR, and more recently Cadburys. Kraft promised that they wouldn't close and factories and they did, how long will it be before they move the whole thing abroad? Meaning another traditional British thing gone.

  • @TheNazgarth No, that is not the only reason I will vote Labour. I will vote for Labour because they are far superior to the two other parties. Anything other than a Labour win puts the country and it's economy at great risk. It also puts the average working man (and woman) lifestyles at risk. We all know that the tories have a long history of giving a great benefits package to the big earners and make up for it by putting huge taxes on the lower earners.

  • @TomTresh3, And we all know that Labour is at the moment taxing the middle class extreamly large sums on their hard earned cash on death, but giving high income earners tax breaks, and low incomes massive benefits for sitting on their arse(some try to get a job but there arn't any), plus giving immigrants free everything.

  • @TheNazgarth you say some low income individuals are looking for work, but imply most of them just sit on their arse and live it up on hand outs. How ignorant! But then again I shouldn't be suprised by that typical tory view!

  • @TomTresh3, May I ask where this money is oming from to reinvest in services, becuase it certainly isn't coming from borrowed sources, you cannot borrow your way out of debt. And all three main parties are CUTTING budgets.

  • @TheNazgarth Labour are cutting BUDGETS, but not investment into public services such as the NHS. We all know where the money is coming from - the taxpayer, an increase in NI. You can't magic money out of nowhere!

  • @TomTresh3, what does the Laboyr party mean by investments exactly?

  • @TheNazgarth putting money in to get a good solid public service. Britain is the envy of the world when it comes to healthcare.

  • @TomTresh3, I'll tell you what it means, it means they are cutting budgets, its plain and simple.

  • @TheNazgarth No, it's not that black and white. If it was we wouldn't need politics.

  • @TomTresh3 , i have also noticed you have no responce to the deficit, national debt, more rights for criminals, lies about crime rates (and other figures), criminalisation of drivers, and immigration rates.

Please try and explain your way out of those piles of mess, and why they have come to be that way.

  • @TheNazgarth The tories greatly over egg immigration (which I think is a good thing, actually), plenty of British move abroad and we don't mind taking the revenue that torism brings. If we take the loot, we can't blame them for wanting to move to our great country like britons like to move to spain, or other parts of the med, and the americas. The "more rights" for criminals is also over egged. They still put crminals in prisons you know!

  • @TomTresh3, on your comment about immigration is true, immigrants come in and Brits go out. But this is not good becuase, I will tell you why.

When immigrants come in some work hard, some don't these that don't get benefits and houses etc. this is a drain on tax payers money. Not only that all immigrants will expect healtcare at some point, which is another drain.

    ...

  • @TheNazgarth Speaking of drains on healthcare, I am not keen on the tories plans to privatise parts of the NHS, or their pleans to decrease investment in other public services, such as police, railways and roads.

  • @TomTresh3 When people leave Britain they are usually hard working high earning people, who have been educated in the UK at the taxpayers expence-fairenough, but they are often replaced by the opposite.

  • @TheNazgarth What about all the immgrant doctors, businessmen and dentists? There are plenty of them that move to this country. Again, you appear to be of the view that most immigrants are somehow below you. Get real!

  • @TomTresh3, yes these doctors come in and take "British jobs for british workers", as Gordon Brown would put it if he was capable of telling the truth.

  • @TheNazgarth we are the envy of the world for healthcare. I'd hate for our healthcare system to become more like the USA where you have to pay for life saving operations, which is a likely result if the tories get their chance to start privatising our NHS.

  • @TomTresh3, so we have got to the bottom of your argument for voting Labour, and it is all about the NHS. In your eyes nothing else matters, the reason I know tjis becuase yoy will not confront any of the issues I have talked about, deficit, national debt, lies about figures, crime rates, criminalisation of drivers.

  • @TheNazgarth Crime has been falling for years. That's a fact. I have also talked about the economy, the police force, other public services and so forth and my comments are still here for others to read. Your claim I "only" care for the health service is complete and utter bullshit, and anyone who has the ability to break wind can see that!

  • @TomTresh3, the reason why the crime rates are alling is because they changed they way theay are measured, they now don't count shoplifting below £250, many go unreported because of the time it take for the police to get there and Gordon brown has lied himself twice on TV about immigration figures, he said "immigration is decreasing" the fact is that the increase of immigration was less than expected.

  • @TomTresh3, I've talked about the economy several times, and to sum up what I have said I will say that wer are IN THE SHIT basicaly.

  • @TheNazgarth You sometimes have to whether a storm. We may be "in the shit" but we certainly don't have it as bad as the USA does, and it's the labour party and gordon brown we have to thank for that. Under tory leadership we would be deeper in the shit, with them selling off bits of the NHS.

  • @TomTresh3, do you have any proof about this then, that we would be deeper in shit under the torys. No you don't and yet again your argument is based on sepculation.

The labour party has damaged this country and it will take years to repair. Even if the US is in a worse state (and what has this got to do with UK matters I don't know) they have...

  • @TheNazgarth If you can't see what the US has to do with UK matters, then you don't know the first thing about how the credit crunch came to be, and should really find all of that out before commenting on such matters.

  • @TomTresh3, our situation is effected by the US if they grow faster than us out of the recession, which they will, the pound will reduce further against the doller, in other words more bad news for us.

  • @TheNazgarth No they will not recover faster than us. I've lived in America, and they are in no such posistion to do so.

  • @TomTresh3, a large industrial base and can recover far faster than us with very little industry left, and I will admit the loss of the mines was mainly Torys fault, but Labour lost the rest after that.

  • @TheNazgarth if you think the US is in a posisition to recover faster than us, you are living in cloud cuckoo land. I lived in the US and the amount of businesses that have sunk in the last 10 years makes the UK look good!

  • @TomTresh3, well the NHS is the only argument you have put across that had any factual basis

  • @TheNazgarth No it's not. Crime has fallen under this government and that is a fact. The minium wage was also introduced by this governement. That is but two of the many factual based arguments I have put across, which is much more than you have.

  • @TomTresh3, No they have change the way they measure the figures, how can crime rates be down when prisons are full and labour have made 13 thousand new places in prisons?

It can't be true, its staring everyone in the face, its utter bullshit.

  • @TheNazgarth It's not bullshit, it just shows that criminals are being punished and not let off lightly!

  • @TomTresh3, but crime rates are down, hahah very funny.

criminals are let off lightly many stories of murderers geting a 30 year prison sentence and get maybe 20 years of that.

  • @TheNazgarth "many" stories??? Show me 10 then! You talk bulls***!

  • @TomTresh3, ok give me a few mins for that 1, i'll get em, links to site and all.

  • @TheNazgarth Within the last year, mind. I don't want you going far far back to make things look worse than they really are.

  • @TomTresh3,More than half a million serial criminals have escaped with repeated cautions in 'soft justice' Britain.

In tens of thousands of cases, offenders are committing four or more crimes such as shoplifting or burglary, and still not being hauled before the courts.

Critics said it made a mockery of the idea that cautions should be used to warn the first-time offender that if they step out of line again they will be punished by magistrates or judges.

  • @TheNazgarth So we need to bulid more prisons then? All the more argument then for investing in such services.

  • @TomTresh3, your trying to make "building more prisons" sound like a bad thing, do you want criminals walking the street, free?

  • @TheNazgarth and how many more prisions will be built by the tories, who are cutting spending in such services as law and enforcement?

  • @TomTresh3, well the torys are making some sort of cuts, but there will be efficency savings, not being a Tory supporter I don't know the ins and outs of this matter, but do you know the ins and outs of labours cuts which the ARE doing. By the way I am an Anti-Labour supporter

  • @TomTresh3, More than 10,000 serious criminals who would once have been jailed have been allowed to go free by the courts, a report said yesterday.

More lenient sentencing rules mean robbers and burglars are much more likely to escape jail than they were six years ago, it found.

  • Right on, lets invest more money in these public services and carry on catching the criminals!

  • @TomTresh3, In a massive new law and order scandal, almost 1,000 criminals including murderers, rapists and paedophiles are wrongly at large.

The dangerous convicts should have been returned to jail after committing new crimes or breaking the terms of their early release.

  • @TomTresh3, i've got one general story to keep you going while you wait.

In some police force areas more than half of offenders who could expect to face a crown court are instead handed a "slap on the wrist".

The number of cautions being given to violent criminals has risen by 82 per cent in just five years.

i'd put a link in but it wouldn't let me
