not only that but tiger figured this out before stack n tilt was invented so you can say tiger tilt or something because he did keep alot of weight on his left foot like stack n tilt teaches
actually stack and tilt was invented in the 80s. and no he is not stack and tilting, not sure if thats the right way to use it. hank haney doesnt teach stack and tilt he teaches ben hogans swing. and people say hogan looked like he kept weight on his left side when he really wasnt it just appeared that way
@steelerfn Stack N Tilt is a tag Golf Digest put on the swing findings of Plummber and Bennet. Their swing componnents can be found on players through out the History of Golf. Palmer, Nicklaus, Nelson, Hogan, Couples, Sean Foley teaches the same stuff. You will see Tiger doing all the Plummber and Bennet swing theory stuff this next year. I have a 14 page letter written By Hogan discribing what he did and it's all snt stuff.
omg yes he is using stack n tilt WHY? because, stack and tilt, pros take it more of a stance not a swing, now what stack and tilt says if you keep your chin over the ball threw your whole swing then your spine angle will come back at address especially on your down swing not only that its easier to turn your hips faster when the ball is in the middle of your stance, ive figured that out. also tiger places his club like driver a little foward middle irosn middle wedge back middle
Most of these guys have "elements" of the S&T Model..he's not totally S&T though...if you watch the DVD, those guys encourage letting the right leg straighten up in the backswing...If you watch closely, Tiger's stays right where it is...keeps the same flex all the way to the top.
@CarolinasPGApro His right leg is extending too straighter not quite straight. This allows him to rotate the shoulders more. Same thing Snead Nicklaus, Hogan did.
Figures a bunch of Tiger lovers didn't like your comment because you questioned his swing. Being around golf most of my life (I'm 24 with a +2 handicap), if you look at all the pros and very good amateurs, they all have hip rotation through the ball. For me it helps with getting my weight from my right side to my left, keeping my club on plane (too much hip turn causes you to swing from the inside, not enough can cause you to come over the top), and helps release the club at impact.
Hi, I shot these videos at the Masters with a Casio EX-F1 at 300 frames per second.
It is the only camera on the market at the moment that videos at 300,600 and 1200 frames per second. I live in Scotland - but I think the camera is about $900 in the US.

I am new to golf, but I can't see how he keeps the ball going where he wants it to with that hip roll
