@MrTARDISreviews you are awesome! i love the little spoofs you do of the episodes...i have yet to watch your dr who reviews..and i completely agree with ur opinions 100%
@TardisAdventures i heard that they're waiting a year from the first air date, so this coming spring. if this is true, a large part of my soul will die between now and then. i'm already rationing the first 3 for myself (i'm making myself wait about a month between each episode), to make it last longer and it has to be one of the most painful self-inflicted tortures that has ever existed.
Why doesn't anyone make a Sherlock- video with "Baker Street"? It's such a great song and it's so obvious to do it and yet, there are all kinds of more or less good songs with Sherlock clips but not "Baker Street"! Why?
Thank you for making this! :) I'm making a fanmade sherlock/doctor who crossover movie and I need to capture the characters as perfectly as this show did. This really helped me! :]
I can't think of anything about your review that I disagree with. I was kind of skeptical about this series at first, but they really did the characters justice while adding some really cool twists and changes. And yes, Benedict Cumberbatch is absolutely amazing. I can't believe I'd never heard of him before this!
I think that Cumberbatch would make an excellent Master in doctor who! Can't you just imagine him skulking around in his TARDIS with a laser screwdriver?
I enjoyed part one of your review and can't wait to watch part two. I hope you will do the other two episodes, if you haven't already. The BBC series was actually my first experience with Sherlock Holmes, and I love it. I run a forum for the series as a result.
I love your review, you cover all the elements that make this a dynamic movie. I too was taken by the text implication. If it doesn't continue on as a series, then BBC needs new executives making decisions. All casting is superb.... just love it!!
I totally agree with you, at first I didn't think much to the trailer. My parents recorded the series for me.I actually didn't see the eps until, the series finished. And I felt really stupid, because I didn't reliese how bl**dy amazing it was! Best show in years, I love Benedict! My favourite actor, now. Everything about the show I loved! I even wrote 3 fanmade eps because I loved the show so much! About Adler/Hounds/ Sherlock falling off a building. Plz check my chnnel 4 Sherlock stuff :D
Catlin Moran described Cumberbatch's voice as "a jaguar inside a cello". I have to say I agree. Guh, that voice. And sometimes I think he doesn't need to breathe he talks so darn fast. Anyway, another great review. Can't wait for your take on the next two episodes
Right, this has confirmed it. When I finish my b00k (end of march tops, the whole thing only took 4) you're getting a digital draft because this review shows how excellent a reviewer and epically self referencing you are.
I came to the BBC adaptation the other way 'round. I ignored the Jude Law / Robert Downey , Jr, as in. completely . Once ti had been announced Moffat/Gattis were writing this new programme, I was on tenterhooks until it's broadcast.
And I wasn't disappointed. Loved Martin Freeman in Hitchhiker's The Office. Definitely looking forward to the Hobbit!! Just looked up Bernard's filmography, and although I've seen a few of the projects he's been in, I've no recollection of him. He's stellar as SH
@imaof4 Apart from this i've only seen Benedict in 1 other thing and that's 'Four Lions' where he plays a potty mouthed police officer. He's only in it for 2/3 minutes but he's hilarious =D
LOL awesome. nice review. shame I wasn't able to watch this episode but oh well, the other 2 were awesome. love the guy who plays him and also (Sherlock for doctor who) yeah don't hind it, your thinking it too :D
May I ask the jazz song played at 2:40

Aww, you spoilt it at the end ...
You can actually, depending on the version of movie maker, make a subtitle more similar to the one in Sherlock to the one you have.

Love how you say '221b Baker Street' at the same time Sherlock does :D

I am the only one of my friends who hates Dr Who. I didn't mind the christmas one with David Tennant, but I just hate Matt smith...

Why do you have to do commentaries on the show? Why can't you just post the show in parts unedited?
