I honestly think the whole family mourned enough to the point of no mercy. It is painful enough for a father to lose his son regardless what the media think and say. I'm sure Joe heard it enough and prob doesn't want to be reminded anymore and he wants to show that life is going on no matter what. I'm sure Michael would want everyone to just go on and by happy. Nothing will bring him back. There has to be some peace.

There is a distinct difference between teaching your children discipline and abusing your children. Joe could have easily taught his children to be good performers thru encouragement instead of intimidation and force. The way to get your children to be better is not by telling them that they are no good and they will never be any good. That is not encouragement.
