I am filipino and I like the show. I don't know why some americans are so bitter with this.

Anyway, I don't like Raychael somehow. I think she needs some medical help. She loves helping but I don't know if she really knows the word care. Though she made the show more dramatic I guess.

I applaud the program. There are soo many people that have tremendous ideas that could "Give Big" and make a difference, that otherwise might not have had their ideas heard. May the potential contestants be worthy and have thought out how to meet their goals/tasks, they would like to achieve. May they choose tasks that affect many not just some. What a amazing opportunity!

she is not the nicest person ever. there are people our there who give MUCH MORE than oprah, and they dont publicize it like oprah, she's doing it for ratings and popularity. educate yourself before you say something.

I don't think she's doing this for selfish reasons at all. She's famous and has the connections to be heard out there and not many people who want the chance to make the world a better place have that. The publicity is good because its a huge motivater to others and shows people (as in the interviews) that everyone has problems and that giving is a good thing and that you ARE rewarded for good deeds. The smiles and thank you's and the love you recieve from others for helping is worth everything.

I wanted to comment to ask u to think about this...is giving ever wrong or a bad idea? I doubt, by your comment, that you would say yes...seems like u agree with giving. So, Oprah has the captivation of the world with her status... so, how wonderful that she is using her spotlight to show the world benevolence-to be an example of benevolence. How cool!? Only Oprah can know what is in her heart as she is giving. Feels a little unfair to make judgment on that.
