slightly out of synch @the end like josefgiven says but all is forgiven as I love this tune and you play it very well. I have just ordered a whistle and I aspire to play like you some day - keep up the great playing.
hey ryan,, great to see you still up and running.. could you possibly make a new video playing the butterfly with this tune following, great combination. i usually play this set at sessions.. but my cam broke at the minute cant really make any more vids, brilliant.... 5 *****
I thank-you so very much for these videos. I have been learning strictly from your videos. I have played other wind instruments and have a great ear so you wonder videos now have me exploring on my own as I tackle Julia Delaney. If you do that one I would love to see it... good day to you...
How come your first tone is F and not E? I suppose there a tone shift in your recording.

is that whistle a common D GENERATION? sounds amazing
asusvilla 3 years ago
I think it might be a e flat whistle.
turtleTP 3 years ago
Yup, that is an Eb whistle.
It is a generation nickel-plated shaft with an O'Riordan top combination, though.

Slip jigs are 9/8 time, double jigs (the most popular) and single jigs are 6/8 time.
Nice tune!
cocklesandmussels 3 years ago
...what does that mean? xD does the 9/8 mean 9 beats out of 8? but how would that work...?
Ocarinaplayingwriter 3 years ago
9 eighth notes per measure
