  • haha well thank you! this made quite a while ago and i'd like to think i've gotten at least a little better, but it was my first attempt lol

    well...it was tasty! :p

    thanks again :)

  • That was awesome. I teach cake deco classes and most of the adults in my class would be amazed at this vid. Very good. Very very cool. PS. I think it is hilarious that you ate it.

  • you're welcome! good luck, i'm sure you'll do great! :)

  • Thanks for that, what a great video, very easy to understand.

I'm going to try making these this weekend.

  • Oohh! I have always missed that last part!

LOL! My 8 year old gasped...she ate it!

  • ahahahaha!!! well of course i did, that's the best part! haha :p

  • thank you!! i will :)

  • If you guys want digital video quality, buy a DVD how to make flowers, otherwise leave her alone, she did just fine!

  • gosh THANK YOU!!! i was half tempted to delete this video just the other day cuz of the comments on here; they were really bringing me down...it's juuust a home video.

    thank you so much :)

  • Geez, you just can't make some people happy. Don't get discouraged or delete anything, keep posting videos and ignore those fussy people.

  • Wow you're so clever!! Awesome!

  • aww thanks! :) try it, it's actually quite easy!

  • how cute! where do you buy your pre-made fondant at?

  • it's called satin ice and i buy it online :) uuuuubber good :)

  • Gotta agree with the other comments..there is alot of sniffling from you or the camera guy.

  • it's the camera itself, like creeking and what not.

  • is it cold from where you are? you have a cold or allergy or something? it's also important if u really want to make a good video. sorry...

  • dude what is your problem? no it was not cold and no i didn't have an allergy. i think i sniffled like twice just cuz but the camera is extremely squeeky and there were other people (such as the camera man) in the room with me.

  • i think it's stupid how people have to say that... if they dont appreciate your great tutorials then dont watch!!!! At least she's being helpful!!! Thanks for the great video :]

  • hi! your video's great but maybe you would like to make a video without the sniffles. so we can understand it better. cutie little lilies! good job!

  • sniffles?

  • do u make ur own fondant or do u by it already made?

  • i actually do buy it pre-made. I've found tht homemade fondant is very very, overwhelmingly sweet. This can still be true of store bought fondant, depending on the brand you buy. Personally, i really enjoy the texture and taste of Satin Ice.

  • awesome! good job! give me five yeah!

  • thanks - air five - wow....that was sad. :P

  • wonderful...!bravo..

  • thanks! :)

  • haha i was just curious! ^^

  • haha what did you say on that one part when you're cutting out the white part of the lily, and you whisper something?

  • oh! lol, i was just asking the guy behind the camera if he could see what i was doing; if my fingers were too much in the way or something. lol, surprised you heard that! o.O

  • looks great! and well done ;)

a little tip to make life a little easier when you make these delicate flowers is modelling the lillies on a toothpick, so you dont need to handle them as much, and pressing the toothpick into some foam, letting it dry without losing its shape. then you just slide them off! and...make a small greaseproof paper piping bag, and fill it with your glue! you can get a real steady, and less flow of your icing without making a mess!

    congratulations! keep it up :P

  • oh ok, thanks for the advise...definitely going to have to try that!! :)

  • wow, a-w-e-s-o-m-e! Thanks for the tutorial :0)

  • you're welcome! i had a lot of fun with it! :)

  • okay, your calla lillies are so adorable I'm gonna have to make a mini 3 tiered wedding cake with these on it!!! I can't believe you just made those without a rolling pin OR a cutter......you rock!!!!!

  • oh thank you so much! it's more creative when you use just your finger tips!

i'm glad you liked them! I made a mini cake for my friend with these all over it (her fav. flower) and it ended up looking like a wedding cake! we had a huge laugh!

    Good luck! :)

  • oh you're so sweet! how bout this, you send me a camera and i'll make as many videos as you want! hehe, i had to use my friend's camera cuz i only have a web cam. but....i love making them, so i should definitely be making more!! :)thx again!

  • Hi there. I LITERALLY just started trying making my first fondant cake last night and it looked like a 5 year old made it ( and i'm 31 ) ... you creations are so cute !!! pls post more " how to's "... ill practice making them. Thanks !

  • cute video.

I am not a flower maker, but have seen the cala's done: 1st the center so it is dry and can support the flower as you roll it into the heart shape, and then the leaf. Making your center a little longer and letting it dry, can give you something to hold on to, when finishing the flower and adding the leaf. Good luck! and don't eat too much sugar :)

  • thanks! keep those things in mind! :)

  • hihihi AWESOME video !!!!! you really have a great talent T_T nice so good... i really love it ...oyah but just for input hehe it is much much better and easy if you use just a simply water as a glue thrust me it's gonna stick....:)

  • oh ok, thanks! i'll have to try that :) thanks for the compliments by the way, really encouraging seeing as that i'm totally new to this. :) thanks again, you've been really helpful! when's your next video coming out? looking forward to it!
