Thank you for this I could listen to her for ever for me its not about coming out its about having God in my life and to hear her talk about been a lesbian and a Christian touch me for years I have hated on the Christian community because I get nothing but abuse from them so this was enlightening and moving and I am now seeking the support of a church because I cannot make this journey without God I just didn't know how to find him again. Ms. Wright said that part of her reason for staying alive was her obligation to help others who may be going through the same struggle, "that 12 year-old girl in Kansas." It reminds me of the movie, "A Single Man" with Colin Firth, set on a college in the mid 60's. He was also on the point of shooting himself and didn't because of the student who was looking to him for guidance. It's also a good movie showing how corrosive it (usually) is to be closeted.
