I saw him the this guitar player. Saw the perfectly good guitar tour and the walk on tour and have seen him Sonny Landreth more recently but never got to see him with Ry Cooder! I wonder if "Little Village" will ever reunite? Hurry! Ry and Nick Lowe are getting up there.
Hey, nice track! I only just heard this song on some country radio station I got tuned in to earlier this evening,, JH has written so many great songs it's hard to know them all and this was new to me.. Nice one. A good video and the sound's just fine, enjoyed it.. Thanks for posting, Px :))
THIS SONG IS THE REASON WHY I JOINED UNITED STATES IN THE FIRST PLACE ! LOL IT WAS THE NO.1 COUNTRY SONG IN MAINLAND CHINA MUSIC BOARD FOR 52 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS !
John Hiatt is one the THE most underappreciated singer/songwriter/musicians of our time. He can do it all from a soulful ballad to a flat out rocker. Love him!!!
Nope. John didn't even bother to finish high school. He knew at an early age what he was meant to do with his talent and his street smarts. Lucky for us!
john is playing a free concert in freeport maine this august, ritchie havens will also be there on another night. Its three hours away from here, but I will be there for sure, cant wait
I can listen to this song over & over in my car. I love singing along. Wish I could go on the cruise in Feb & see him live. Please come to Minneapolis John!
He played this in solo concert in U.K. at London's Barbican Centre Oct 22nd 2007- memorable evening.Although now 55 years old still hits the high notes.
3 dislikes? what could anyone dislike about this fabulous version of a fabulous song?
