Hi I am trying to install Snow leopard 10.4a432 on my Dell XPS 15z which is i7 8GB RAM and stuff using Virtual Box. When i try to use darwin without EFI option it takes me to boot selection mode where i select the snow iso file and select the DVD mode of boot. It starts and stops in the initialization stage and stop with "System startup time 185984582 nanaseconds". Doesnt even move after that. Please assist i have my virtualization enabled and i have even checked in BIOS.....

I'm on a i5 K655 Clarkdale, and found I had to use the "-v busratio=7 cpus=1" switch for the Snow Leopard install, then put the following two lines in my .VMX file:

The way i got this to boot without any issues was to use the installation disc (SL_10.6.6i_by_Hazard.iso) to boot then press F8 and choose Machintosh HD. has worked every time without any issues. Thumbs up so this can be seen.

The ISO is around 4.3 GB and when I burn it using Nero or the default windows 7 burner,to a dvd,the dvd is made of only 1 MB ! And when tried to boot it says error loading bios . I was successful with install, however when I get to keyboard set-up section; my mouse capture doesn't work (it freezes).
