great vid. i remember when me and the guys used to sing that last song in high school as we walked through the hall ways really loud to piss off the teachers!
Thinking of moving there myself. I hear Namibia is a peaceful, democratic country with beautiful landscapes. What are the chances for qualified people from Europe to find employment there?
I am curious; how does Namibia compare with your neighbouring countries like South Africa and Zimbabwe? I read about the similar problems they have but we never really hear about Namibia on the international news (much less, most Americans don't even know where Namibia is).
When I was there in Sept 07 I was told never to walk alone in the evening and watch where you go even in day time. Everywhere there are high fences, fortified windows and a rottweiler in every backyard. There are also lots of security guards (for example outside banks) with their AK47s Having said that I think you would have to be careless (or unfortunate) to get into trouble. I have posted a number of film clips of people going about their everyday lives in Windhoek.
lol nobody actually listens to those songs maaannn...try using the local kwaito songs we make there. u'll hardly hear those lousy ones u got there. Vut the video is ok though.
Try filming the night life next time and see what goes down there.

They are awesome if you know the right people and are polite to all races. If you are a Dr. or a nurse, Namibia needs your skills. It's a good place.

@LargeSyringe Chances are pretty good, but you need to contact the Namibian Embassy in your country.
