  • Don't lie u dumb ass!!

  • where was their mind to allow this on their property?

  • She should have never leased to begin with! I hope people wake up and realize that the "misinformation" is NOT coming from the fractivists, but the fracking industry and people who stand to profit monetarily from this environmental fiasco. (I couldn't find a "frack facts" site when I searched.)

  • there is lots to test for in your water, the chemical they use to get Gas out of rock,Google this: boric acid used in fracking, you will find lots of things

  • i support no fracking in NY, Don't trust experts and their studies they are on the side of corporate greed, drinking wells WILL be contaminated, "heed this warning"

  • @Zs1truluv Dumping the watse? Are your serious? I live in NY. I work on frac sites, also do testing for the EPA. It is illegal for them to "dump" the drilling waste. It goes to a treatment facility and the water is put back down the well. Also, the "frac sites" have complete containment areas, with containment ponds to capture any spills. Which do not happen due to the controlled circumstances. You are miss-informed. Go to a site, for yourself. In the mean time, stop miss-leading others.

  • The property value has evaporated .

  • The New York Senate just passed a temporary ban on hydraulic fracturing. The ban lasts till spring 2011.

  • The Republican Party long been for business and elite large corporations has recently gathered their forces to collect monies to fight the Democratic party representing progressives, liberals, unions, and the working classes. Their money will pay writers to craft words to make light of the methane problems. Don't believe everything you read. Be careful to watch for where the article comes from and who else supports the writers monologue. Keep up your good work. Keep a diary with dates and times.

  • Only sediment and no benzene, ethylene glycol, alcohol, or methane? That's actually not too bad compared to others. Others have seen their farmland ruined.

  • This is right next to Seneca Lake. So this stuff slowly oozes into Seneca Lake?

  • @real998877 How could it "oooze" into the lake? You should educate yourself, possibly go to a frac site, before you "spew" miss-leading info, to an allready miss- informed public!

  • Incredible. What a bunch of underhanded skeevy bastards. Did you listen to Science Friday this week? They had some woman on from the gas and oil industry who INSISTED TWICE that "not a single case of contamination of drinking water has ever occurred nationwide". The lies are unbelievable. It really pisses me off too because natural gas actually is a very good low carbon source of energy; they're going to ruin the whole goddamn thing by angering decent people with their insatiable greed. Idiotic.
