A few years ago I moved into a 20+ year old house. It turns out that the previous owner that lived there since the house was built. We pumped the tank for the first time since the house was built, and there was a 4 foot layer of cigarette butts in the tank, since the previous owners smoked, and we took pictures of it :P
(dirty diaper--throw it in the toilet............wad of thick paper towels--throw them in the toilet..........used Kotex--throw it in the toilet............used T.V. Dinner tray--throw it in the toilet.....dirty socks--throw them in the toilet.....)
A crappy video. The owner will get a bill for the cleaning and be down in the dumps. When it's time to pump the tank out, call the dump truck. Some people poo-poo the advice from septic tank experts. if the truck driver dies, he'll be in-turd. some will see the video and feel flushed.
I don't have time to watch this entire video right now but I can tell from what I've seen so far is that someone has been flushing items down the toilet that they shouldn't and that has caused a huge build-up of paper and other garbage in your septic tank. You're going to want to clean that mess out of there immediately. What you can do is keep a special container in your bathroom to collect used tampons and toilet paper. What I like to do is use those as compost for the garden or for land fill
If it doesn't come out of you, it doesn't belong in your septic tank. So this means no paper towels, female sanitary products, or large food debris. This is not a hard concept.
We had a job like that we install a new tank and field and about 3 months later i get a call from the customer that the they where having problem with flushing and we pulled the tank covers off and there was egg shells, paper towels and dish cloths i had a nice talk with the owner and she said she did'nt "know" u were'nt supposts to flush thoughs : o and of course they wanted me to pay for the pumping i did'nt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@diggerdave51 typical. i used to do construction and got that all the time. my son was hanging off the cabinet door and it broke I want it replaced for free. or my other favorite we were moving in and put a hole in the wall its a new house so you have to fix it under warranty. No I never did pay either.
I love swimming in my neighbor's septic tank in latex clothes.

There's a saying that goes, "If it's not made by your body, don't put it in the potty." This video shows why that saying is good advice.
