Actually despite what a lot of people think, that scene where andre comes back is actually a flash back to the beginning of the game (that's the reason the 2 moons seem to move backward at 0:57 even though its not the same night) so Andre has pretty much been permanently defeated, unless of course somehow his hands act up at the exact same red lum, the point of that was to show how Andre came to be and how, I suppose, it may be possible another black lum enemy could come in a later game.

Yeah, I wish Rayman will return. What the hell went wrong at Ubi Soft? I mean, the promo trailer for Raving Rabbids was kick-ass. It started as a chance to control Rayman's punches and kicks with the Wii remote and nunchuck. And ended like a Mario Party/Wario Ware rippoff which would steal Rayman's stoplight. I'm not quite sure myself. But I think it's because when Sega's Dremcast failed misarably due to major errors with that console, Sega lost millions thus, doing their best to recover from their fall. In doing so, getting Sonic in Nintendo DS, Wii and Gamecube and Microsoft and Sony consoles in hopes of getting earnings in that way.
