When you boost a car, your car loses its reliability. I drive my car on a daily basis and I really don't want my car to have a boost leak or fucked tranny. This is why I have I/H/E on my car. I know I'll be able to squeeze out a bit of extra horses but retain my car's reliability at the same time.
Not to mention, going forced induction costs a lot. If you could afford a turbo, you could've went with a more powerful car to begin with. Stock EVO > Boosted Honda.

Stock unit isn't that difficult to swap out. The hardest part is the bolts that hold the unit in once you pop out the part of the dash by the shifter.
lol it's tough to change the stock head unit ... pop out the heat warmer buttons theres like 4 screws there. then you gotta pull really hard, its pretty stupid actully. feels like your gunna rip the dash out good luck
hey, does anyone know how to change a RSX car audio reciever? Do i use a screwdriver to pry open the outside plate of the reciever first? Cause im having a hard time doing that. IT seems like im breaking it lol.
Yeah, I get what you mean. It is true that generally if you put the same mods on two cars with different engine displacements, the one with more displacement can benefit more. But specifically, some smaller engines are engineered to benefit completely from mods. Though I do agree with you that increasing displacement is the most beneficial for power.
WRC cars can't have more than 2.0L of displacement, and they manage to put out a lot of WHP. I'm not answering the V-Tec part; just referring to the displacement statement.

Same weight as a 90-93 DA-integra, except it has 180hp. So the gt-s is no slouch. Both the type-s and gt-s have potential. Well engineered. But non are "fast" cars. They can be modded to be very "quick" cars, but non of them will top 180mph.

v-tec stands for variable valve timing electronic lift control........they all have v-tec engagment...(i) stands for intelligent... its just a newer and more advanced system including the intake valves faces the front of the car and the exhaust valves the rear...
question, im sure u kno how vtec works...how come they dont have the car run like that with extended piston range all the time? you'd get much better acceleration at lower RPMs

As far as NA motors is concerned......no substitute for displacement......UNLESS....there is weight reduction! Type-s is 20hp more than the GT-S.....BUT......the GTS WEIGHS.....300LBS LESS than a type s!!! Pick your poison and enjoy. Both are well engineered.

uh.......not necessarily "kill" a celica. lol. the type-s has .2 litres more with 20hp more, but it also weights over 300lbs MORE than the celica. The celica gt-s weighs in at 2500lbs! Same weight as a 90-93 DA-integra, except it has 180hp. So the gt-s is no slouch. Both the type-s and gt-s have potential. Well engineered. But non are "fast" cars. They can be modded to be very "quick" cars, but non of them will top 180mph.

v-tec stands for variable valve timing electronic lift control........they all have v-tec engagment...(i) stands for intelligent... its just a newer and more advanced system including the intake valves faces the front of the car and the exhaust valves the rear...
