A guy named Cheney (the de facto President) must have know about the FBI report in 2004 that predatory mortgage lending was going to crash the system. What did Cheney do to *solve that problem*? In 2004 his SEC allowed 30-1 lending reserves thanks to Goldman CEO Hank Paulson's lobbying. Attorney's Gen. from 50 states wanted to go after predatory lending practices. Cheney blocked it setting the stage for 2008. Bush had NOTHING to do with it b/c he had nothing to do with anything.
