  • Great ideas! I know this probably doesn't match your "optimistic thoughts" approach, but you can also use the edict pages from newspapers (where current lawsuits are publicly announced) and the instructions pages and booklets from a product you buy. :-)

  • Great video!! Sometimes I use a masking technique to make words. Use old stickers, paint over them, then remove them. It leaves a cool word in whatever pattern your background was in! ;)

  • Can you tell me if your paper is watercolor sheets? Then do you put them into sleeves of scrapbook albums when you are done? Looks easier in the long run than a spiral or bound journal!

  • OMG you have the cutest little runny babbit I've ever seen! I want one! BTW, awesome little video about adding words to journals. :D :D I love words in mine too!

  • Hehehe :D thanks a million for subscribing! :D

  • I think you covered everything...you can as handwrite on tape....

  • Wilbur is so cute! and Barnaby too, of course! I haven't added words to my art journaling yet, I really need to do that. TFS!

  • I had some good thoughts...but then I saw bunny, and it was oooo bunny shiny!!! I wish I could have a bunny here, but QLD outlaws them. Rubon letters are good, labels, miling addresses, sharpie pens too.

  • Rubon letters are the best! Hehe, and yeah the rabbit is such a cute distraction hey. :D

  • old newspaper headlines (can be great for creating mood / nostalgia too)

junk mail, flyers especially the ones you can tell someone made on their home computer

  • Aww thanks so much :D Yes yes, the rabbit's only a baby - not actually sure if it's a he or a she, but we call him Barnaby. :P
