I know people tend to lose the ability to read from time to time but to make sure, he had already described what has happened in the video comments. For the love of god read, if you know how.
@rrpeters I was under the impression that the "title" was suposed to give a basic explanation of the contents. So, like most, i read the title, and then watch the video. It makes no sesne to me to title a video one thing, and then write a paragraph under it explaining why it isn;t what you titled it. If i put up a video titled "supercharged cummins" and then the video was of me running over a carrot, would that be ok as long as i explained it under the video?
@caniwitech The title is correct because this is still a turbo built motor. It clearly says in the description that this is a Turbo motor that was being tested without the turbo to break it in and to test baseline numbers in it's low compression naturally aspirated form. Anybody can say they put a turbo on and made an extra 100 HP from it but how many people actually test that? I would love to see what this motor makes with the turbo to compare it to the N/A motor.
That's friggin sick! I'd like to drop that in my 67 pickup.. as per your comments, that's all the work that was done to it? Seems everything other guys end up doing is far more labor intense, and using alot of more parts and modifications. This is pretty much what I'd put in my vehicle, surprised my "pipe dream," wasn't!
@JonesyIndy At this point in an engine build like this they all get labor intensive, we focus on a lot a top end work such as: Cylinder heads, intake, and headers. You have to have a good bottom end to take the abuse, but you have to make an efficient air mover to make power. You should here the latest N/A street build it just made 350+ hp check it out on Youtube "4.7 Stroker Camo". THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL THE GREAT COMMENTS!!!
hey i wanna buy this engine in the near future, how much are u selling this motor for? plus i live in australia so do u guys do international orders? please send me ur fone number to my inbox or even here. thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!
@markrufino We'll ship anything anywhere as long as the customer picks up the shipping costs. The shop phone is 704-454-5749. Motor prices vary from one build to the next due to customer preferences and budget. Call for specific details on engine prices. We also just got our new custom big bore torque plate hone machined so we can finish the latest 4" big bore stroker to see what kind of numbers it puts out on the dyno.
@21Newcomer so this engine can be installed directly into a cherokee just like a regualr swap? or will some things need to be change?, cosidering this has 100ftlbs more of torque.
@lol123321123321 This is a direct swap, you will need bigger injectors, possibly an adjustable fuel pressure regulator(depending on year), header, exhaust, or shift kit/clutch. Its all in how much you want to upgrade. Some people just add only bigger injectors, the more upgrades the better it will compliment the engines performance.
@Novaseta 91-95 HO block, custom ordered ross pistons, total seal rings, factory short rods-bushed, lightened, polished, and arp bolts. If you go to Flicker you can check out pics of the build. Just use Key words"Newcomer racing and 4.7 stroker turbo"
damn i wish i had that in my hornet in NA form it sounds bad ass in it natural for but it probably goes like stink with the boost what kind of crank did you use in it`?
