You need to pass a universal health-care reform (or at least public option). If that is socialism, then every other indstrialized contry is socialist. The US isn't topping or even close to topping the lists measuring quality of health care. people want Tort reform to do away with crazy law suits forcing Doctors to keep ordering more than required tests to protect themselves, they want cross border shopping for insurance to increase competition and reduce costs, they want rules against pre-existing conditions, portability etc
Obama wants socialized medicine with huge Government running the industry
we can cover poor with subsidies and leave a good system alone
