  • This is amazing!!! I love Sarah! I have a huge blk/wht framed pic of her in my apartment ppl ask....who is that? And I think.......really????......................such a shame our yong people growing up dont know a clue as to what she is??????

  • Two of the worlds greatest singers came from Newark, New Jersey. Sarah Vaughan and Whitney Houston

  • magnifigo

  • National treasure

  • God, I love this woman.

  • @TruthSerum101

    I love her more :)

  • @nancydrew5 LOL!

    ...but I met her twice!

  • I absolutely love this!!! Never really listened to Sarah Vaughan before but I see that I will have to indulge in her gift more often...

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • divina!!!, homenajeando a the beatles

  • oigan esa voz

  • Sing it LOVE!

  • This is annoying

  • @3234718 u are right its a great song

  • @3234718 Your screen name explains everything.

  • Que simpatia de cantora, e quando a melodia chega cheia de nuances dela, só dela, quase que inventados por ela. Não, esse estilo tem história pra trás: Ella, Hollyday. E Sarah Vaughan é sequencia dessa história.

  • @McClaudioMacau

how is this annoying / get that peanut butter out of your ears and eyes lol.

  • @allendonaldson1588 Thanks.

  • Sassy was Queen on the Hill

  • WHAT A VOICE!

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • Wow! the Beatles were powerful.

  • @lisatina69 SARAH VAUGHAN was powerful! She filled this otherwise empty song with her amazing presence and voice!

  • best verion i ever head

  • Ellen? Great! Carmen? Great! Sarah? Fantabulistic!!!!

  • If anyone has her version of ONCE IN AWHILE from the Dick Cavet show, please post! It is genius!

  • The day that television puts on artists like Ms. Vaughan on the air once again, I will tune in. But, there aren't any performers out there today that could do this. Surely there are many of the "old timers" (from the 50s to the 80s) who can still perform incredibly, but television does not care to give us quality, just pure non-sensical rubbish.

  • This seems like it could be a Tonight Show. If anyone has her Lullaby of Broadway cut for a Tonight appearace, please post. ITs a masterpiece with the old Tonight Band.. crackin!!

  • another reason to love this fabulous song <3

  • Sarah could sing anything - anything at all -- and make it sound like sounds from the highest heaven

  • @seedofvision yes i agree she is a goddess...

  • That was excellent! What a great performance.

  • Does anyone has Sarah's studio recording of Fly Me to the Moon? It's really one of a kind

  • Does anyone has Sarah's studio recording of Fly Me to the Moon? It's really one of a kind

  • Does anyone has Sarah's studio recording of the Fly Me to the Moon. Like everything she does -it's one of a kind

  • Does anyone has Sarah's studio recording of the Fly Me to the Moon. Like everything she does -it's one of a kind

  • In 1981, Sarah recorded a whole album of Beatles' hits called The Songs of the Beatles. "Get Back" -"And I Love Her" - "Eleanor Rigby" - "The Fool on the Hill" - "You Never Give Me Your Money" - "Come Together" - "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" - "Blackbird" - "Something" (George Harrison) - "Here, There and Everywhere" - "The Long and Winding Road" - "Yesterday" - "Hey Jude" -

I own the LP and still play it on my Zenith-Allegro Console Stereo.

  • Sarah was criticized plenty by jazz purists for singing songs like this, but I always loved Sarah for being different. She sang all kinds of music from jazz to Brazillian, to Pop, to Broadway, to poems of Pope John Paul put to music, and even spirituals, and she did them all.... divinely. Perhaps that is why she was called The Divine One.

  • I so much miss the days when people sang....instead of mindless rap.

  • Love it!

  • This would be the SIXTIES, not the 1970s, based on Sarah's wig and the band's arrangement. The song came out in 1967, I'd say this is 1967-69
