All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke, 1729-1797 These Brave Souls, Men and Women, Who are Fathers and Mothers, Who are Brothers and Sisters, Friends and Children, All Said, "No Evil will be Victorious on my watch!" All Gave Some, Some Gave All. Remember Them.
we remeber who we lost we remeber who fought for our rights WE REMEBER those brave men and women some not even 19 WE WILL NEVER FROGET YOU and we would alol like to say thank you.
We need to do something about our country being invaded now. Unless we do something we are going to be out-numbered in our own country, it is only a matter of time after that our white race will be wiped out through race-mixing. In the mean time there will be countless attacks and rapes commited against our people which could and should have been avoided.
As an Englishman I know the bond between the USA and UK is forged to last. True friends together side by side bringing freedom and democracy to the world. Good wll always beat evil. Our brave military forces are the backbone of the world. God save the Queen and God bless the USA!
A senseless war, i hate the way Britain fought for german democracy against an evil man and suffered so many sacrifices and the bloody yanks come along "we're so great we'll finish it off" and take all the credit for the victory, we fought independently for years and those lazy gits claim it cause "they helped us out" piss off, ultimate respect for all BRITISH soliders plz rest in peace, my thoughts are with families that suffered, god pending nothing like that happens again, GOD BLESS BRITAIN.
I respect you for being so proud in your country as am I, I am Canadian, don't forget that Canadians where there too, your right fucking Americans always take all the credit for something they had little part in. Where where the Americans in the Boer War? sitting at home doing nothing. Where were they during World War One for most of it sitting at home untill it was practicaly over, and what about World War Two for most of it again you where at home. Yeah fuck off you American fascist bastards.
they wern't doin much in Europe cuz they had to beat off the Japanese Imperial Navy and their Air Force...Remember Pearl Harbour-worst surprise Attack ever (or best if ur lookin at it from Japan's view)
Yea lets all suck an american cock today shall we? You maggots make me sick sucking up to the yanks just because you cannot stand on yer own two feet. Gutless bastards.
can any one tell me any thing about the 5th cdn armd div? it was the the regiment or whatever my great grandfather was in! i was told he was a mechanic and fixed tanks but he died before i was born and so far i cant find any info? ihave some documents for the medals he recieved but thats it!
As a former U.S. Soilder, I would just like to say thank you to the U.K. You are a great friend and ally. we will never forget your great nations brave men and women who have fought and died. We are lucky to be able to call you friends, God bless the U.K.!!
God bless you too sir! Many films slate the UK (Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart and Independance) but that is just the anti English film industry! Most villans on tv have upper class English accents (just look at Star Wars for one) but we remember the real US people and hopefully our friendship will continue!
@head375 I thank you, I'm a colonel in the royal army I have served 3 consecutive tours in Iraq and Afghanistan my regiment has had the honor of serving with some American troops and I would just like to say on behalf of my regiment and every British soldier fighting with your forces that your countries soldiers are some of the bravest and most honorable men I have ever had the pleasure of serving with, I salute you.
Me thinks you are a troll; 'royal army' '3 consecutive tours' 'honor' and 'honorable'. You you don't write like a British Army colonel and btw we spell it honoUr and honoUrable ..with a u.
However as a genuine former Brit serviceman who HAS served alongside US troops in Iraq, the sentiment is shared.
@constablenapweed excuse for making a few errors while typing on a bloody youtube page, and how would you expect a british colonel to type on an informal website?
@constablenapweed oh and by the the only reason why on this post I spelled honour as honor is because I spell check each one of my posts before I switch it too youtube, and I don't always check the post over afterwords if I'm in a rush. sorry if my first post seemed defensive.
Sorry fellah, I smell a great big fat walt troll. Dude, if you are a brit you're DOB is NB 1990 and you took a your history degree at youtube uni. FFS, I reckon the nearest you've been to JSSC is google earth. Come on treacle stop walting - don't be such a sad victim - get a life.
@constablenapweed watch your tongue, your speaking to an officer, even though you don't believe me, I don't have try and prove my military record to you because we’ll probably never meet nor engage in any form of higher intellectual conservation than this debate, so I wish to discontinue this conversation based on how pointless it is, you go on and continue to make accusations I don't care nor will I respond. God Save the Queen! btw
watch my tongue? speaking to an officer? lol. PSO more like - dude if you hold the Queens commission, I'll eat my Afghan medal. You utter knob, stop walting; which Arm? what Regt? what TELIC and with what BG? what ASC? who do you command?
Don't insult those who are/have served by pretending to be something you are clearly not. Mate, it might work with 90% of youtubers - but it insults those who have actually seen service - SO STOP WALTING, loser.
My great grandfather survived the Somme in WW1and he was a Sgt Major! We lost three of my Grandmothers brothers in WW2! Army, Navy and Airforce! Anyone who doesn't repect this day should be put back under the rock that they crawled out from underneath!
My Grandfather (An Aussie serving with a Scottish Regiment) came back in 1919, a total wreck, he walked out on my Gran later with not a word of Goodbye and was never seen again.
My other Grandfather Killed when his Ship hit a mine in the North Sea a year after the Armistice, 3 Great Uncles served in France,my Mums Uncle Sgt John Young Killed in 1916, another Great Uncle, wounded at Jutland 1916- I think every family was affected in some way ..terrible waste.
Great respects to you and your family my friend (hope its ok to call you friend)! My Gt grandfather was stabbed in a bar fight in Sunderland after WW1 and died a couple of years later of his injuries! Ironic to go through all that carnage and then to be killed by your own kind!
There is no rhyme or reason is there-In my Grandfather Roberts case, his ship 'Amber' which was sunk by a mine with all hands (as mentioned above). A 24 year old crewman on there, had just served 4 years in the trenches without a scratch, decided to make a new career at sea after leaving the Army, and was drowned on his first trip. I am preparing a vid about this story as I have relevant documents and photos connected to this.
I hope you follow through with this! It will be a great tribute to those on the Amber! My Gt Uncle Ray was torpedoed on Atlantic convoy in WW2 in a Destroyer and survived (he was an Engine Stoker who managed to get out in time, lucky!) He went AWOL but was caught by the MP's! His punishment was to be handcuffed to the engine of a Destroyer leaving port on the next convoy! He was uncuffed when the ship was far enough out so he could not jump ship! Again he was put to work as an engine stoker!
my uncle was killed in 1944 and I feel so insulted that the Sinn Fein mayor of Belfast doesn't recognise the sacrifice by not attending the Remberance Day service - but then Sinn Fein didn't want the home-coming parades - WE will not break faith
The Tommies are coming, The Tommies are coming,,,, When will the world sing that again and realize the British army gives lives for causes outwith its own.... We are the people and god bless those who give their lives for noble causes!
It doesnt matter, if we were candian, a brit, usa, wherever...what matters is we joined together to stop the world coming under nazi reign, and success occured. so join me in celebrating november 11th at 11am your country time, to remember those wh fell in all wars!
Rememberance day is not only for those who fell in WW1 but to all the soldiers who have been killed whether it was a peace keeping mission or a War they all died for the same thing, They died to keep you and I free. November 11th was picked because it was the end of the first world war and we chose that on that day we will always remember those who have fallen.
We chose it because it was the most bloody and if i remember correctly we lost the most amount of men in that war it was a modern warfare with outdated tatics it was waiting to happen :( may those brave soldiers who have ever fought for our freedom and died rest in peace
May we rememeber the Troops of Both the Axis and the Allies, who fought for their own Counties and what they Believed, and a special Thought to all the Men who died in Bomber Comand and the Kriegsmarine who are the Forgotten heroes!
