Dude i hope you can help me, i also have 2 Xone 1ds but my PC always only recognizes 1 of them, i ndon´t know what driver to install because when i plug my second 1d in it says that the Driver installation failed O_O

you said something about the midi cable, is this required?

Ciao visto che ti intendi un po della serie xone, io ho uno xone 4d con traktor scratch pro che controllo tramite MacBook, poi ho la Maschine della native istruments che la controllo con un pc sony vaio l'audio la faccio uscire con una scheda audio 4 dj visto che la machine è un controller midi. Volevo sapere se sto facendo bene i collegamenti??? Sarei grato se mi daresti una risposta Ciao Chris

The Xone92 (in the middle) is the audio mixer.

The two Xone1D units are MIDI controllers which can be used to control DJ software.

They don't play CDs or do anything on their own. They have to be connected to a computer.

The difference between a 3D and this setup is that the 3D has an built-in audio interface. So if you want to use this properly on 4 channels you need an extra audio interface.

One thing I just remembered are the eq's. the 92 has low mids and high mids. the 3d hasn't.

hello bdx are domenico, I am going to sell my Xone 4d to 1d and 2x Xone Xone 92 Audio 8 DJ and all running with traktor pro. I have heard of problems connecting via usb hub you explain in detail how do you connect it?

What you need is a self-powered USB-Hub or a USB-charger (like the one you can get for iPods or the iPhone) and a MIDI cable. The first 1D has to be connected directly with your computer. The second 1D should be connected with the first 1D via the MIDI cable and it should get it's power over the USB cable by using the hub or charger.

what are you using the 2nd 1D for? i have a JBSystems Beat6 MKII mixer which is the biggest piece of shit ever invented and a xone:1D, controlling every Traktor Scratch Pro feature... Not critisizing, just wondering what you're doing with it.

I'm controlling all 4 decks, effects, loops and of course the browser in Traktor Pro. In fact I never have to touch the computer or it's keyboard.

I don't need an audio interface and I like the little better sound and the extra LFO + 4-Band-EQ of the 92. And there are two additional channels. All that for less the price of a 4D. ;-)
