  • @tashdog1 you won't be disappointed with the Ecosystem miracle mud. I've never kept freshwater but should imagine the results will be just as good.

  • i have a sump for ecosystem miracle mud but im thinking on changing my aquarium cabinet

so i can get a 5,foot one for freshwater as said on the other video just buying the freshwater miracle mud comes tomorrow, love all the BRIGHTLY coloured GREEN plants

  • @Clearwater2011 very easy maintenance! I have to trim my caulerpa prolifera every week - 2 weeks.

  • I am on 6 cubes of rinsed frozen food per day

    Current readings

    Undetectable Nitrates and 0.03 Phosphate

Which means I need to harvest the Cheato

    Then the Po4 drops to - 0.015

And so easy to look after

  • @MASTERSURGEON04 no probs.

  • @Clearwater2011 thanks buddy. I feed 3 times a day and like you say the system copes even without a skimmer. I've got a couple of sps but will be adding more.

  • The system looks amazing!!

  • AWESOME SYSTEM I GOING PM YOU I HAVE LAST OF QUESTION ON YOUR SYSTEM I SETING A 90G NOW AND I LIKE SOME ADBARS FROM YOU THANK GOOD WORK

I found the same thing awesome stability,

even with the hungry tangs the system copes

    Are going to try SPS?

  • do you have a protein skimmer on the back of the tank ? or is there one in the sump

  • @CincinnatiReefer :). I look forward to seeing your setup.

  • Your tank looks great. I look forward to more updates and videos! I will be using miracle mud in my refugium as well. Thank you for sharing.

  • @mrtesting thanks for the kind words :). I just want to show that a simple Ecosystem can work without all the additional equipment which people think they must have to have success.

  • @99ronmarsh 24/7 :)

  • @123danzing thanks, easy maintenance a simple ecosystem.

  • I have seen a lot of reef setups, but I lust after yours the most! That whole system is just awesome! Good job man, good job! You should write an article on how to use that miracle mud stuff properly. Your system is a true testament to the proper use of that material.

  • How long are your lights on for your sump ? Looks great.

  • That's some really nice algae growth. And no skimmer in the system? My hats off to you Sir, well done!

  • @wesleyforbes thanks, 550L (4.5 x 2.5 x 2ft) I'm using aquabeam 600 x4 reef white strips along side 2 x 150w halides.

  • Very, very nicely done! What size tank is that? What LEDs are you using, and how many?

  • @newyorksteelo, cheers buddy.

  • @reptilejones thanks

  • Awesome!

  • Thats a nice looking system for sure!!!!
