No, but certainly external circumstances can be an environment which the Spirit of God uses in order to draw us and also the outcome of a personal encounter with Christ will be that we start to act on that and it will manifest externally.

@illywacker1 see 6:22 - 7:01. You cannot be saved by any amount of good works. When you recognize and accept Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as atonement for your sins, God will see you as Jesus was, perfect, without blemish.

@aijourney You have a bible. Just a thought.. Ask God to fill you with his Holy Spirit and direct you as you read to find some information to put together your own (but really his) sermon in extremism. You don't need a PhD, just the Holy Spirit, your God-given measure of Faith, and a bible.  KJV is my preference. Believe me when I say that is true

Pastor Begg is the best! Been listening for a couple of years now and I never miss a sermon....he is the best Bible preaching teacher I have heard and oh how I wish near Cleveland...but I will visit Parkside someday God willing and lovingly shake the hand that has brought me to truly know the God of the Bible.
