Top 25 Fastest P Plater Cars Under $20,000

If i was still on my P plates, and couldn’t enjoy the luxury of forced induction... id be getting myself a BA-BF XR6. They sell for under 20 now, and have the 4L straight 6. Which beats the vast majority of similar cars in that year/price range and non turbs. They are reasonably fuel efficient too. My old BF XR6 did 11L/100k and was a blast to flex through the hills. Just my sly 2 cents

I would like to add a CE model lancer 1.8L into this list. May not think it but with a simple breathing mod and actually added weight (passenger and sub box) I have dragged and beat a supra several times, a FTO (uses same engine btw), commodores and falcons (old and new), R33's and my girlfriends S13. all these cars had the same breathing mod at the very least. My car is the 4 door version so its also more practical than the coupes here. You may hate on this but it is a suprisingly fast car.

this is a stock list but lancers are a great car. Anyway there are plenty of mods that you can do to get most cars into the sub 7 second list. Legal mods are pods, lighten the flywheel, ecu remap, exhaust system, etc. I just became friends with an ex cop in my area and he has given me all these great tips for the p plater community. BTW most cops are awesome except for the highway patrol officers who are the ones that get bullied and give you tickets.

hey buddy nice video although a few of the of the alfa pics were incorrect you just showed aftermarkit kits, and the r32 you showed a r36, also i dont think a s15 can o 0-100 in 6.9 more towards 7.9, ive also run a 6.1 0-100 in the wet in my FG xr6 so yeahhh.. haha :P

thanks you'd be surprised how many kids drive around in cars well over $20k that they own. I'll try and get around this week to do the $10,000 list.

the 180sx is hard too find with out a turbo that goes for any silvia and the 180sx only has a 1.8Lt motor which is only a 4cylinder so with out a turbo it is totally gutless

if your looking for a r34 with out a turbo seach for r34 GT thats the nonturbo version

Its just a picture of a GTR. Obviously it's referring to a Nissan Skyline GT-Four or GT or 25GT. A GTR goes 0-100 in 5 secs! Sorry for the confusion but I mean It's hard to find quality pictures of some cars.

no bias! Alfa Romeos all use a similar engine. I'm not a fan of Alfa Romeos due to many reports of them rusting however I'm sure in the right hands they can be cared for well. Which car did you think was fastest stock anyway?

lol? You do realise that performance vehicles are safer than driving an excel or micra. They come with bigger brakes and more handling. They also come with higher safety generally because their initial cost is higher. BTW how safe is your Volvo 245GL? How many air bags does it have? Sounds like someone wishes he had one of these cars. Otherwise why did you look up this list in the first place...

why would you want a gold r32? You can find an r32 for under $20,000 if you look around. Some of the first models for sale are $18,000.

no as always most people are misinformed about the rules. The RTA conditions don't apply to vehicles that are allowed and considered reasonable power. I'll provide a link to the site in the description of this video. Basically some vehicles like a supercharged mercedes or turbo Audi a4 are considered non sports turbos. Ofcourse all the supras, silvias, skylines, MR2, 180sx are the non turbo models times on this list (even though their pictures aren't).
