I'd like to see you folks who are knocking on Bergeron for this hit play defense. I did it... it's a hard position to play and often pretty unglorious. This is where it's a game of inches... a bit faster on the play or a better angle and he nails Ladd hard and sends him into the end boards and looks like a hero. It was a lose-lose play. He doesn't attempt that hit, then Ladd gets in alone on Roloson. What do you folks expect him to do?

@cstooch I play defense and I agree but at the same time there's a time to level someone and there's a time to play smart. A goalie gets paid to make saves, let rolli make the save. MAB should be either any passing lane away, forcing Ladd to shoot and a bad angle or should be using his stick to lift Ladd's or try and make a swipe at the puck. No need to take the penalty and injure Rolli.

There needs to be one of those NHL Playoff "What If" commercials for this. Because if this did not happen Rolli would have won that cup. He played some of the most amazing goal tending I had ever seen during that playoff run. Then Bergi TKO's him on a meaningless defensive play.

u guys should check it out again... bergeron tries to check AWAY from the crease but ladd leans in towards roloson. Not that ladd did it delibritly tho cause Bargeron dosent hit shouldet to shoulder but gets Ladds lower body. Its just an accident no ones fault.

Yeah, but it was MacT's fault for rotating the goalies every game...he should have kept Markkanen as the back-up all the time. ;) Besides, the Oilers played horrible in games 2 and 7...unfortunately.
