@humpaloompa well she's also addicted to heroine. thats the point, her explanation is bullshit because its her excuse to do bad things. leland sees that there's consequences to actions so he sees that angels do frown down on them, and that's why he laughs when she wants him to say 'everything is going to be ok.' nothings ever 'ok'.

i like 6:08 when he kinda laughs then he gets serious just to do what she asks. also my favorite scene from the movie. i like don cheadle but i dont like some things he chooses to do ro the way he does things as an actor. little things, like when he sips his wine or w/e it is, and he says "sweet h2o" it just irritates me for some reason
