I generally like this guys reviews, but to say he wants more linear stories that means he wants cRPG's dumbed down! The Witcher, Fallout 3 and Morrowind all have main stories - all cRPG's have main stories and you can just concentrate on the main story if you want!

@DeatgMagnet..I consider controlling more than one character messy, other than age of empires etc, once you switch you are not controlling other chars. ai does random things and casts random spells, also the pause attacks also makes things messy, should be able to make decisions instantly rather than stop and you know....

the game would be good if you could control and focus on one char only with no pause..

plus the witcher was a joke...

Well... depends. If you play it main quest ONLY its around 20 hours. And if you do the sub quests its round 40-50 hours. BUT. There are 3 very different ways to go through the entire game (not only different endings in which you can save the game 5 minutes before the end and check em all) which overall gives 120+ hours gameplay. Satisfied? :)

almost every game rate gets that grade, if you compare it to a similar game that is ACTUALLY good like The Elder IV Oblivion you can see why its crap, The Elder scrolls got a rating of 94%. Even The Elder scrolls III got a BETTER rating (89.80%) than The witcher and that game is ancient compared to The Witcher.

Well Morrowind for me was the best RPG ever created but everyone has a favorite. I love the fact that I can explore every part of Morrowind and modify it with lots of great mods to keep it interesting. I didn't find it too open and I found myself driven to complete the game. The Witcher game sounds and looks good, I might pick up a copy of "The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf" when it comes out to see what all the praise is about.
