ST200 had crap front brakes as standard, should be on a Fiesta. Ford got tight as the Mk2 Mondeo production run ended and started using old parts for different models.
What a great video. Only a true petrol head would attach a camera to a car to look at hot discs!
And what a car! Proper drivers car without the knob image of a BMW. One of the greatest understated cars on the road. This is coming from a VW R32 owner.
thanks! yeh was a bit worried about loosing the cam and running over it! its a great car, one of the 300 limited edition saloons to. Not the fastest thing ive owned by far but makes up for it by being so well balanced. Like you say, a proper drivers car! :) some bigger brakes are on the way very soon!
That is sweet! I used to own an old 1983 Mercedes 300SD. I was trying to pinpoint a brake problem, so I braked from 100kph to 0kph five or six times, hard. By the time I got home, they smelled terrible and were smoking like crazy! I thought they were going to catch on fire! Turned out later to be a sticky caliper.
My 1995 Galant front right disc glowed when it was jammed :)

Wow, I never knew you could get discs to glow on a road car ;)

Mate! That was awsome! I've always liked the ST200 too, couldn't afford one so I built a VR6 turbo! Wonder if my brakes glow like that too....
Nice one!
