i like the base because i think it lengthens my lashes and helps them to stay curled....but if it's not working for you, then of course, you should return it :) different products work for different people!

I'm not sure how exactly to do a tutorial on the base.. but i'll give it a shot when I get some time :p

What does the primer do? Where can you get UDPP? How much did that lip gloss cost? It looks so pretty on you! Love the look.

The smashbox primer helps foundation to stay on all day, and gives the face a smooth canvas to work on (seriously, it makes your skin like silky smooth!) so the foundation doesn't crease or wrinkle.

I bought UDPP from Sephora, and you can get it at any of their outlets or online...and likewise for the Clinique gloss ($13.50). Hope that helps!
