I live in NY and we don't have Ross stores here. I bought the Steve Madden ones in khaki and black at Macy's last weekend for under $60 each with coupons. The ankle straps were just fine. I saw similar dupes but lower platform and heel at a discount store on 34th street but the Steve Maddens are high and sexy. They really make my pudgy old legs look pretty. I would have gotten them in white but the khakis make my legs look longer and Macy's did not sell them I'm white. Check out Macy's!

I found them, but there were only two pairs left. I ended up buying a pair that were supposed to be 7's, but when I got home only one of them was a 7 and the other was a 7 & 1/2. What a pain! So, I hope everyone who finds them checks the straps for the sizes. Sometimes stores like Ross pair the wrong sizes with those damn alarms. I exchanged them. :)

Stuarts would have lasted you 10-20+ yrs, a 10 mile hike w/o a trip to a podiatrist! When humidity kicks in, U will see the jute heel coming apart w/ the nine west. U are not paying for the name when it comes to stuart weitzmans. But U R paying for the name when you buy cavalli's, some guiseppes, donna karan, proenzas because those will run you over $1000. When you realize it takes 72hrs to hand make each shoe, you will realize it is also a good value! This is why we buy louboutins!

@2katsmom Well, I don't have the money in the first place to spend $1000 on a pair of shoes. I have 2 kids and that's not logical for me. Even if I did I wouldn't spend that much because my style changes so much, I don't keep shoes for more than a couple years before I move on to a new style. And if you watch Lorraine's videos on THECURRENTCUSTOM, she has a video that proves that she has a closet full of Chanel and Louboutin heels that are damaged, the heels busted on her very quickly.

@crystalynn83 I agree with you that you have to live within your means. It is the responsible thing to do. If people were like you, we would not be in such a terrible economic mess! All I am saying is there IS a difference in quality. Even with 2 kids, moms everywhere deserve to have a good pair of quality shoes so buy the best quality you can afford even if it is just one pair. I am a shoe-aholic (no kids, home paid, 2 income) and I have both cheap and $1000 pairs--there IS a difference.
