Don't generalise please. They've always had a tough time at Rock am Ring, since it's a more alternative festival witch just one day out of three where they have one stage that features metal acts, so the crowd is not really into the heavy stuff.

However, if you go to a club Lamb of God show or to a real metal festival in Germany everyone goes off the wall, as you put it, trust me :)

@KHfan4ever23 you gotta take a look at the summerbreeze and the with full force festival, not as big as wacken but crowd goes insane at times :) just search: "summerbreeze 2008 heaven shall burn voice of the voiceless" ...rock im park and rock am ring isn´t a true rock (or metal) festival because they´re are artists like jay-z or something... mainstream festival = mainstream crowd get my point?

i just noticed that the sound was good and that Lamb of God did a good fucking job! in my opinion it's more about music and the guys on stage than about the audience! Rock am Ring is not a Metal festival, so there were many people at the audience who even never heard about this band ;-)
