Don't get a 510. If you want to buy a 1960's or 1970's sport sedan, get one of these instead: BMW 2002Tii, Ford Escort RS1600, Ford Lotus Cortina, or an Alfa Romeo GTA. 510's are a cheap imitation of a BMW 1602, and for some reason a lot of 510 owners think they are gangsters and talk in that way. Example(s): "fix them nice to represent." "bro 510's is gangsta"

I'd probably have two Datsuns. The first one is pretty basic, white paint job and 56 painted on the doors. The second one, I will take a bat and put dents in it, break the windows then spray paint Demolition Buggy on it, and if any body asks the dents are battle scars.

There is video of 351W with a turbo on it. There is also video of one with the VQ motor out of the 350z in one.

But i'd rather put a built and boosted I-4 to keep the weight down and balanced.

@DatsunJohn For real... I don't get why people make such a big deal out of show cars... if you can't drive a car, then there's really no point having it. I mean sure, I know you'll say it's still fun working on it, and sure, of course it is. But still, what's the motivation for that if you can't drive it?

I got a 1978 datsun 510 hatchback for a project.

newer than i'd like, and im not really diggin the hatchback. but its my baby right now. its got the l20b in it and im going to just build up the l20 til i get enough money for a swap which will be a LONG time. so shoot me any ideas for the datto.
