Freaking great as always! Youre like an icon bass coverist to me man. Been playing bass for almost 2 years now, learned couple of MtH songs and a few RHCP songs too. Mainly I just play like Gorillaz and more chilled music, but man; I WANT to do covers like you someday :D

BTW; I agree with the others that say you should do more tabs on your songs, even though I just know it takes a long time and efford to do. DO MORE COVERS, more people need to know you! Keep it up!

I use a thing called stealthplug, which is basicly an external sound card connected to your usb port and on the other end is a guitar jack.

Question: How do you mix yourself so well in these recordings? I can never really turn my bass up high enough to hear myself over the recording without it distorting. Is compression the secret or am I doing something wrong? I use Reaper which I think is what you use.

Well you know that you can lower the volume of the backing track right?

Otherwise I think it depends on how you record yourself. You need a proper adapter, preferably with an integrated sound card to get the best quality, like my stealthplug or like Davids presonus device. Hope it helps!
