I was watching an interview with ASH and they were talking about how Giles was killed in the comics and ASH said the writers had "interesting things" planned for Giles after season 8. I can't wait to say what they mean by that!!!!

why did he have to die?! He was always there for the gang and now... now he's gone... *tear* Angel needs to pay for what he has done! The B****** killed Jenny, but it wasn't enough... he had to kill Giles too. Why did Angel even kill Giles anyways?! I'm afraid to buy the comic. Every time I read it I will end up crying.

... ... ... Wesley is dead...he's just an apparition. He was killed in the last Episode of Angel.  He's merely an apparition in service to the Senior Partners, even when he "comes back" he still goes back to dead again unless the season 9 comic changes that.

Don't worry, the Angel & Faith writers are well aware of how retarded S8 was in terms of continuity and character and will be bringing Giles back as a zombie. Or possibly a robot.

@YumiRulz Sadly, I don't think it'll happen. :c The world no longer has magic, so there's really no way to bring Giles back. He /will/ he featured in flashbacks a ton in the Angel and Faith series, though!

RIP Giles, No 1 Watcher of all time. I feel for the Scoobies but poor Angel. Everytime he's not in his right mind he ends up doing terrible things. So many people die when Angel is evil. And now everybody except Faith hates him for killing Giles. It was Twilight's fault!

Giles leaves everything he had to...Faith. Buffy is left with nothing but the book from the first episode of the show.

In a sense I think its sort-of karma. Giles was no saint and he made a lot of questionable decisions, that came back to him in some way or another.

Not to mention that its sort of curse of Buffy. Anyone she cares about will eventually abandon her one way or another, till she is left alone.

I think it's a good decision, and I see that as something he would do. Buffy has friends and people she can rely on, she'll be ok, and he knows that. Faith has no one, and has never had anything at all really. she's changed and will use the money and stuff to help slayers. although she is now helping Angel out.

Oh don't get me wrong. I completely understand why Giles did what he did.

However that still comes off as a kick in the nuts(that is if buffy had nuts) .

The fact that the first thing Faith does is to take care of the one who killed Giles does not help that too.

Faith feels that she has to help him, becuase Angel did her a big favour in the past. He saved her soul. helped her realise what she would become if she didn't stop.... He helped her become a better person, so she sees him as her saviour. she can never let him down, if he asks for help. Buffy on the other hand is in love with Angel and always will be ,but with that comes a certain hatred.

Buffy would understand, she doesn't want money, and has never felt comforted by it.

Meh. To be honest, not only did I give up on the comics after half a dozen issues, but it doesn't really have any impact since it hardly looks like Giles here (or many of the others, for that matter!). As far as I'm concerned, though the series had its ups and downs, it ended with the S7 finale. The comics, while some of the one-shots were fun, are just glorified fanfic IMO.

Very nice - excellent choice of music. It works as-is, but if you don't have anything better to do ;-) I'd love to see the timing adjusted to put the dramatic swell in the music at the, um, appropriate moment (bawl!!!!). Great idea, very well done, totally heart wrenching!!

@Aloverssoulz I'm not a big fan of most of the art, but once in a while they switch(ed) it up. Instead of buying the comics, you could buy the motion comics? I've bought one and was pretty pleased with it; Although the voices of the characters are different, sadly.
