Obamas speech was a show. Not a real meat and potatoes speech on issues, but a movie style script that could have been read by any actor to sell a line of hollywood style emo drama to entice the less informed that feeling warm and fuzzy is the democratic message. I can't see him delivering anything but smoke and mirrors. Can you really say what he intends to do if elected? He doesn't have a clue. He hasn't even admitted the surge has worked.
