  • Singh Kaur's voice just absolutely moves me...my fav album is Fairy Night Songs with Gary Stadler

  • Hermoso!!

  • so lovlely and peaceful...the womans voice is very harmony...i feel in dream when i hear this

  • I know very little about yoga music or it's origins but I do know this. I first heard the sweet voice of Singh Kaur some time ago on a Gary Stadler recording. Since then, my life was changed........and it becomes more changed every time I listen to her *which is often!*

Rest in peace, Singh Kaur. We will meet some far-off day, I am sure of it!

    peace

  • na bin ein luder

  • Proud to have chosen Sikhism <3

  • I love Singh Kaur's music, her voice is amazing. The song 'crimson' itself brings tears to my eyes thinking of Guru Nanak and how wonderful it must have been to achieve enlightenment and to catch a glimpse of the eternal cosmic Waheguru Ji.

  • thank you heehawluck1

  • @steadyhandsunny - Good question, steadyhandsunny. I will offer that it is because much of the beautiful Kundalini mantra music made outside of India, was inspired and composed by students of Yogi Bhajan, who brought the tradition here from India in 1969. Yogi Bhajan considered Guru Ram Das his personal, out of body Guru, and so, out of respect for the tradition and line of teachers, much mantra music is devoted to him. However, it is also because Guru Ram Das is known as the protector.

  • This is beautiful, but I'm just wondering why people always sing about Guru Ram Das Ji and not the other Gurus?

  • I take herballsit, and know about the S. H, and Gianthood, and that all humans go, that's why for the Book of D I have come back here an Ang Ried told me I an the Xcoulous The King and will return to THAAT great one day.

  • Purely DIVINE...what else can I say...Angelic music EXIST even down here in this awfull world an angel can sing the glories of Love & Light. INFINITE THANKS from a wounded heart who hates the cruelty of this world.

  • @ThunderGod000 such a cruel and sad world. I pray that God will help me over my depression so that I can lead a normal life. wahe guru.

  • @nirankarkaur1 I hope he does my friend. Peace and best wishes to you.

  • I don't think I've ever heard such a beautiful, enchanting and soothing voice ever before. Thank you so much for sharing this delight. Peace.x

  • Yoga is yoke or union, this is so beyond any particular region of the globe. Re-uniting with divine is the common experience of all people in earth... any effort toward this tru music, art, movement, or lifestyle is YOGA. And traditions of all the mentioned forms of yoga are found in every region across the globe, unique to their particular ancient heritage. Blessings

  • The most exquisite voice to be with this celestial music! Thanks for sharing...

  • first time i hear this, very exquisite..thank you for sharing.. from canada.. :-)

  • Awesome. I can imagine this as the beginning of the day of judgment.

  • Nice music................

  • una delle cose più belle che abbia mai visto!!! Love and Light!

  • ... ...non riesco a dimenticarla le voglio molto bene... ...la Amo davvero. spero che viene da me. ciao

  • Ok, I get that it's supposed to be music for Yoga or whatever. And it's very nice I agree (strange to me that you would do Yoga, an Indian invention, to Celtic sounding music, but hey it's beautiful!). However, who is Guru Ram Das? Can anyone clue me in? Thanks. Nice video too. Galaxies and whatnot. Very ethereal. Makes me want to do Yoga until I'm all folded up into a pretzel! Ok, I'm just kidding!

  • @gungnir2357 Hi, Guru Ram Das is the 4th Guru of the Sikhs, he founded the city of Amritsar in Punjab, India. The holiest Sikh shrine is located in that city and it is the holiest city of Sikhism. The Guru Granth Sahib (Sikhs present eternal Guru) contains a lot of Guru Ram Das Ji's hymns. The Sikh Gurus were beyond human, they were one with god. Thanks!

  • @gungnir2357 This music, is i suppose celtic like as it is voice and strings. But if you are a trained musician, you recognize the tonality of it is nothing like celtic music. Neither is verbal part. It is actually only celtic-ish in that it is a voice and strings. beyond that the similarity does not exist. It is beautiful though. I could go into massive detail of the differences disect this piece like only a musician could, but i think.... It is better to let it speak for itself.

  • @gungnir2357 do not worry for finishing like a human in a pretzel form, then all the galaxies will come inside of you, Guru Ram Das: 4th Guru of the Sikh tradition, he goes for healing, sharing, serving and for openning our hearts cause with close hearts nobody can do all of that for what he came to earth to offer, then when we sing this mantra our energies will open to unfold our own sleeping virtues to share them. He embodied the energy of the Gurus: Nanak, Angad & Amar Das. love & ligh

  • My mind longs for the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan. It cries out like the thirsty song-bird. My thirst is not quenched, and I can find no peace, without the Blessed Vision of the Beloved Saint. I am a sacrifice, my soul is a sacrifice, to the Blessed Vision of the Beloved Saint Guru.. (from Shabad Hazaare, a poem that Guru Raam Daas ji's son Arjan Dev ji wrote to him)

  • Absolutamente bello.- Mil gracias por compartirlo

  • OMG!!!i've been searching for this music a long long time ago...i heard this music before and i can't remember the album...i only remember a word "singh" to it..thank you so much for posting it here...peace!

  • Yes this is Kim Robertson playing the harp.

    She's terrific.

  • oh can you please load up a song that reminds very much of this song!! ? :D but the different is that in the beginning many female voices sings: "guru guru wahe guru guru ram das guru" and then this comes, but with many voices and a little bit different from this too....hmm i can't find it anywhere

  • Oh this is the track I was searching for! brilliant brilliant stuff but I had Kim Robertsons name in mind?! If you suffer from road rage while driving, slip into this!

  • I found it too. Mmmm lovely.

  • I have loved Singh Kaur's voice ever since I first heard her sing, the really sad thing for us is that she is no longer incarnate but our world is vastly richer for this for her legacy - thank you Singh Kaur and thank you Invincible Music for showing us this video.

  • @AinsleyAllmark Breaks my heart to learn of her passing. Her voice was heavenly and her presence touched my heart so long ago.
