taylor swift is a WONDERFUL songwriter on her best songs. she genuinely loves minor chords, like the famous early 60's (rock, pre-Beatles) songwriters of the Brill Building era.

Love Story is the oddest song ever, first listen i thought it was ehhhhhh not so hot compared to the earlier (hits). then 3rd, 4th hearing the actual individual notes/melody lines stick. also, she got a reallly great vocal (sounds like it was close-miked, lots of breath-y resonance) down on it.
