I recently flat ironed my hair, my hair didnt take well so now my ends are straight. Has anyone experienced this and any suggestions on what I should do?
@mcwoman18 same thing happened to me, i decided not to straighten my hair for a year i just kept doing protective hairstyles and it gets better and keep spraying your hair with water and your usual oil mix and keep doing curly hairstyle. But your hair does remain prone to getting straight so try not to use heat on it xx
@mcwoman18 that happened to me when i had weaves in i left out a small part and straighten it ONCE. Then when i took it out in a month all of my hair was nappy expect that small section. As it grew out i started to see little curl pattern, but i eventually decided to cut all my hair off just for a different look.
@mcwoman18 what you can do is get a really good conditioner you like and a plastic cap, make sure your hair is soaking wet and apply the conditioner but dont wash it out out the plastic cap on and keep it on for 24 hrs or go to sleep with it and take it off in the morning and wash it out. really works !

If so, I like to buy/try it like today. After that bad breakage, I cut my hair into a bob style like, short in the back and the rest comes just below the chin near neck length still thick as heck, lol. So is it good to use on lengthy hair too?
FYI: Miss Jessies Products are no longer "natural" as they claimed it to be. If you're looking for a more natural products without any chemicals, your best bet would be Shea moisturizer. They've been using raw, 100% pure products...since 1912 to make their products.

the miss jessie's curly pudding smells really good but its a lil pricey. i do use it and i like it but it does cause my hair to shrink also which i dont mind.

Well I saw this in target, but was a lil skeptical cuz I didnt know what does, I usually use Argon oil, Hawiian silky curl enhancer and thats it! I wonder, does this work on long hair..I like the shrinkage, and the curls tight...I luv the way this came out..Juss stunning!

You should try using carol's daughter curling shampoo and conditioner and the curl definer. It works wonders for my short curls. It is great to just wash ur hair and apply the definer and not have to take the time to comb it into sections!

@Mizzshia1 u got to experiment baby. I was fortunate enough to go to a Chicago Naturals Meetup and there was a product swap. i picked up a couple of miss jessies items: 8 oz Curly Pudding in this video $22, the baby buttercreme 2 oz $7. I just re washed my hair and put them in after testing on dry hair and ..... OMG. those containers are over 1/2 full. I hope someone liked my products because I lovedddd theirs.LOL

@penewaly This is NOT an ALL NATURAL product.It does have some chemicals but not the ones to change the texture of the hair, just defines and enhance the curl.

If you have shrinkage you should do a two strand twist with this product unless you want to have a shorter hairstyle.

You should try using carol's daughter curling shampoo and conditioner and the curl definer. It works wonders for my short curls. It is great to just wash ur hair and apply the definer and not have to take the time to comb it into sections!

@Mizzshia1 u got to experiment baby. I was fortunate enough to go to a Chicago Naturals Meetup and there was a product swap. i picked up a couple of miss jessies items: 8 oz Curly Pudding in this video $22, the baby buttercreme 2 oz $7. I just re washed my hair and put them in after testing on dry hair and ..... OMG. those containers are over 1/2 full. I hope someone liked my products because I lovedddd theirs.LOL

Hi SimplYounique I love your vid I think it is great. I have been perm free for six months. My hair is not completely natural yet. I havent done thebig chop, I wanted to ask you if I have to do the big chop to grow out my natural hair fully.I also wanted to try miss jessie curling pudding. I'm currently transitioning my hair so this video is very helpful! Target is selling Miss Jessie's product now (at least where I live). So I'm thinking about trying it. How long does the product last (not in your hair, from use), it's kind of expensive? BTW, I LOVE your makeup! What kind of foundation do you use?

i have natural hair. when i permed it years ago it all broke off. for this reason i am very skeptical about trying products such as these. do u know if it is chemical free? does it change the texture of ur hair at all? or does ur hair go back 2 kinky once it has been completely washed out?
