I can't stand Sarah Chalke but I think one of the reasons why Becky sucks so much in later seasons is that the writers made her character go from just rebellious to just plain stupid and they made Mark a lot dumber too in later seasons. He was a pretty cool guy and kind of like Dan when they first introduced him to the show (bc he was good with mechanical stuff)

Yeah, they have like two customers a day, and somehow four people (Nancy, Roseanne, Jackie, and Leon) all draw a salary and make a living fromthe restaurant. Not very realistic. They could at least hire some extras, and make the restaurant look busy. In reality, with an empty restaurant they would all go BROKE.
she just does not fit as becky because Lacy was so good at being becky sarah just cannot do the same. and for all those people that think sarah is hotter, I DONT THINK SO. i think Lacy was waayyy prettier than sarah
I love this show. I watched it faithfully when it was on and have recently started watching episodes here. The shoulder pads lol. I miss the old shows. I dont even watch regular tv now. NOTHING compares to the shows then. Not only this one but all of them.
Its funny that I heard on the Radio Guiding Light the Daytime Soap Roseanne is watching in the beginning just got cancelled by CBS a couple days ago. March 5th 2009
Friends, Seinfeld and Roseanne are actually my 3 favorite shows! I think they are all equally fantastic! It doesn't matter that the average person doesn't consider this their favorite show, popularity doesn't always mean it's the best, although I think this is a pretty popular show.

Seinfeld doesnt bother me so much, although I'm not a fan, but friends is hugely overrated and has aged terribly, and 'will & grace' & 'sex & the city' are full of self involved shallow superficial creeps, cliched characters and some of the worst writing and acting I've ever seen, & no depth at all. Roseanne still rings true, its still just as funny as the first time I saw it and even when the characters do something bad you still root for them, because for the most part they are good people.
Nancy is my absolute favorite!
