It WAS scary, especially watching the black clouds roll in, and then the lightning - wasn't leaving until it was all clear. TRUST me on that. It did strike in the parking lot - I just missed the main bolt, standing in the entrance like I was. Caught a stepped leader, though, and THAT was cool! Thanks for watching and commenting, SevereTStormFan! =]

Awesome captures, stormspinner! I loved that thunder crash near the beginning - totally awesome! I saw the associated bolt overhead at the top right corner of the screen, too.

We saw a bit at the beginning of the year (Feb and March), but then not much. This July and now August, WOW, almost every day! LOL Pattern supposed to change, though, to hot and humid and dry - temps in the low 100s. We'll be wishing for rain!
