Been a good year this year, fun to watch the different robots. I'm curious to know why they modified the rules slightly and allowed players to throw tubes into the field of play?
I also wish that at the competitions they would allow the top 8 to pair up only with teams NOT in the top 8. It's a little top heavy when the best teams pair up immediately.
that was an amazing competition. just got back. team 3215, our robot had something fucked up with it every time until the last round we competed in. kinda failed, lol
My brother came in second place out of sixty-six teams.
He's fourteen, and yet he beat a nuclear scientist for the Navy.
I AM SO PROUD! :')
And the only reason he didn't get first and move on to Missouri for the next part is because he stuck up for the other team when they got a red card. They were going to be striped of their awards and sent home for pushing his robot out of bounds, but he stuck up for them.
@sailorlovechan We (3414, Farmington High School, Farmington, MI) were rookies last year. IF you can make it through your first year, it will get much easier after that.

(My brother's robot was 3765, I think. You know, the one that flat one without any arms or minibots. He was red every time except for the final round.
The one that was ramming into and disabling the other robots.)
