  • so its okay on a black mousepad? problem with this mouse is no side buttons WTF! so many fps you can lean left or right and i assign those buttons. or i'll assign thsoe buttons to talk on vent... so sad :(

  • Are there still reports of this mouse randomly becoming disconnected for a second(meaning you hear the USB disconnect noise) and then coming back on its own? That was a big issue with me when using the original Kinzu.

  • @UnknownEnemy I've not experienced this issue, but I also didn't experience it on the five plus Kinzu v1s I've owned. :P

  • So i owned Steelseries Kinzu v1, i want to but this v2. I own SS QcK+ MousePad. WIll it work good on that mouse pad?

  • @HoNNooB It will, it's single colour..

  • Kinzu v2 pro work good with QcK+ heavy only black color?

  • @EthanNixon So you suppose that kinzu v2 pro works fine on all-black mousepads even if I'm a semi-low sensitivity player? I've been thinking of buying this mouse, but became wary when you said you won't recommend this mouse to FPS players with lower sensitivity.

  • @sill1j You will hit the malfunction speed a lot, but with a solid color mouse pad, it won't malfunction in the air. I use 1.3-1.5 in-game, 6/11 Windows, and 400DPI. That is the sensitivity I play with when I play, and I tested it down to 1.2. Yes, I hit the malfunction speed, but it didn't bother me. This was also on a multi-colored mouse pad, but what is acceptable for me might not be for you.

  • @EthanNixon malfunction speed is higher then in Kinzu v1 ?

  • @Rock3tify 50ips versus 65ips, so yes. However, they react differently when reaching the malfunction speed on different surfaces. I tracked a lot higher with the Kinzu v1 than Kinzu v2.

  • @EthanNixon because a play low sens ( win 6/11 ) game 1.3 , markc mouse fix , 400 cpi kinzu v1 , 1920x1080 , 120 hz

and even the mouse is very small and light ( is comfortable for me ) i can't move my hand faster :( i hoped that v2 would have better malf speed

and what about bugs , a heared that in the latest firmware everything was fixed

  • @Rock3tify I play with a little bit of a lower sensitivity and I can use the Kinzu v2 Pro fine, even with a NaVi QcK+. The latest firmware doesn't do much, but you could look into the Kana, since it has a much higher malfunction speed.

  • @EthanNixon my friend visit me yesterday with kana ) white edition , it's very handsome :D

materials , mouse wheel , everything but not glides , mice have very low lift off , about 1-1.5 mm

but kana is big for me , it remind me a xai , but xai was much more heavy

kinzu is the perfect form for me , thanks for your review )

  • @Rock3tify Tell your friend to search SteelSeries' Facebook page. They are giving out teflon mouse feet for everyone who bought an early version of the Kana.

  • How is it in on the PureTrak Talent?

  • @imdabait I don't own a Talent, so I can't tell you. I wouldn't trust it though, since the multicolor issue. It would work well with the Stealth though.

  • this is not an issue , its just how laser a/d optical shit is made

  • @nexes1337 What issue? There's two. If you are talking about the multi-colored mouse pad malfunction, it is an issue. Only Pixart sensors suffer from this, and it's known. If you're talking about the REALLY low malfunction speed, that's also an issue...

  • @EthanNixon hi man , i ment the issue with multicolored pads and sensors acting weird to it , are their sensors that dont react badly on heavy colored pads?

  • @nexes1337 To my knowledge almost any sensor that isn't a Pixart sensor reacts quite normally to multi-colored mouse pads. I haven't tested much Razer products, but they usually use Avago sensors, and they should be good. Mice like the old Kinzu, IO1.1, IE3.0, G400, don't have that issue. I'm pretty sure the Deathadder and Abyssus are also fine.

  • kinzu with sidebuttons would be perfect...

  • on a normal black steelseries qck+ , does the kinzu v2 pro have the same problem with the NAVI edition ?

  • "The Kinzu v2 Pro, with updated firmware, does not have the pixel jumping bug.

Fu" So the problem ur showin in your video is gone?

  • @HannesBengtsson It's not the same bug, so the malfunction will still happen on multi-colored mouse pads.

  • @EthanNixon its common sense that it will malfunction on diff colored mousepads , its really bad not using like for instance the black version , although your navi one is way nicer

  • how much did it cost?

  • @February19th It was sent to me from SteelSeries for review purposes, so nothing.
