The fallacies of modern societys' sense of compassion are obvious. A soldiers best friend should be allowed to shoot a blown up soldier in the head. Living a life with artificial limbs is a prolonged punishment for a lot of military minded people. They would rather be dead than have their soldier body taken from them. The Spartans or the Legionnaires would understand.

Too much is kept from us so we are not "upset" and that is why the british public are so apathetic to world affairs and would rather watch X factor. I also think its kept from us because we would start objecting and causing problems for the Gov if we were shown the truth all the time. Because like many others, he signed up to do something with his life, to be a part of a family, and not to sit around questioning all this bullshit about who why where and what should or would happen, cant change the events, even if they could have been avoided, he like every other one of us soldiers, do it for the job, for our mukkas, not the politics.
